Earthans have a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the universe.
Just imagine what a wonderful time we would have if we all concentrated on peaceful exploration of the universe.Rather than slaughtering one another on earth.
We have to understand that if we have a free Quebec, Falklands,Kurdisthan,Aceh,Eelam,Basque,......
there would be more peace on this earth. What these people are fighting for, is dignity and freedom,
just as we fought King George's armies for our Independence.

That's the problem when you were a former congressman for the Party that's main issue is greedy self interest. The Dems have their bad apples, but I have to say the Repugs with their option for the rich seem to have a much larger share of the wormy ones. That's the problem when one is a former representative from the GOP--self interest is what is behind all their policies.

And a Republican yet. Thus goes the war on terror when a buck is to be made by the free marketers.

The Ex Senator should be freed!!! How in the world was he to know that the money was diverted wrongly to him? FBI should prosecute the charity. FBI can accuse whoever they want and expect him to foot the bill. If the FBI gets this wrong I would want resignation letters from them!

How was he to know? Was he one of those low IQ'd Senators?

The U.S.GOV. needs to regulate and oversee all U.S. based charities. First, the charity orgs. wouldn't be able to support terrorist orgs.if they are under the U.S.GOV. microscope at all times. Second, the money wouldn't be able to pad bank accounts, or be laundred as easily as it is now. Finally,if the american public knew exactly what percentage of their donation was actually being used for the cause being donated to, a good low overhead charity may get more money from the public, and the high overhead over paid exec. charities would more then likely recieve less money if any at all.

It would'nt surprise me at all if they found out that more of the politicians, Democrate or republican, are involved. Politicans are the first to know when and how to get the extra cash on either side.
