The children of baby boom parents are trying NOT to be like their parents. I think you will eventually see a drop in divorce rate also for the same reason. The baby boomers have screwed everything up. But don't worry, they will leave one more burden for their children before they go away, and that is taxpayer-funded healthcare for all the aging boomrs.. Guest who will be stuck with the bill for this monstrosity? You got it, the children of the baby boomers.

Texas, the home of George Bush. The state that has an express lane to the death penalty. King Bush has killed more of our children during his silly crusade war than aborted children in the last six years. He doesn't want abortion instead he needs those children to fight in the front lines and die there. Isn't that a better alternative. Hitler had the same beliefs, maybe it's time to bring back war crimes and legalize abortion.

Bush, our king, is against abortion. Bush has a goal, he needs those extra children to fight his religious wars. He killed mored of our children then abortions in the last 6 years. Now that's a leader, almost as good as Hitler.

Maybe if we could identify the gene that causes the brain to rationalize that infanticide is ok, and test the ???fetus??? for this gene while still in the mother???s womb??? Hmmm???.

Give me a break! Texas has the highest teen pregnancy rate in the nation, condoms are kept underlock and key, and kids are taught "don't do it" rather than safe sex practices.

Access to birth control? You've got to be kidding! Here inTexas, condoms are kept under lock at many pharmacies, kids are not taught safe sex, but rather "don't do it" and the teen pregnancy rate is the highes tin the nation. Give me a break. Less abortions is due to limited access, funding and education.

It seems obvious to me that all the possible reasons stated above are at play here. Also, there is no longer a stigma associated with birth/parenting out of wedlock or teen use of birth control. Of course all this begs the question, are all these children being taken care of.

It seems pretty obvious to me that all the possible reasons stated in the article are reasons for the decline. There is no longer a stimga associated with birth/parenting out of wedlock or teen use of birth control. The obvious question at this point is, are all these children being taken care of?

A woman's choice lies in not getting pregnant in the first place. There are too many forms of birth control out there and far too many people who are willing to adopt for there to be ANY unwanted pregnancies.

Combine this story with the one on the recent 'baby boomlet' and we also see that more babies are being carried to full term -- thus, less abortions. It's still a personal choice turned into a political issue.
