(in my opinion) old school is just that, Old school, old ideas, old beliefs, quite simply; OLD. Your attacks are so ignorant you don't remember what principals this country was founded on. Small wonder the intellectuals and young Americans are voting for Dr. Paul. It's their future, not OLD school theory.

He entered the United States Naval Academy in 1949 and graduated in 1953. While at the Naval Academy, he served as class president, chairman of the honor committee, and battalion commander. After graduation, Perot served at sea for four years on a destroyer and an aircraft carrier.

Ross Perot is, and always has been, nothing. He's raped every company he has ever touched and done nothing positive for anyone except Ross Perot. Why he feels his opinion about anything would be take seriously by any real person is beyond me.

One good thing about this years campains / electection: We do not have to endure Perot's inuendos and lies again.
Nuts are much more enjoyable when you get to eat them, not forced to listen to them,

I served for a LTC and later Full Bird Colonel from the Ranger Battalion who went to Vietnam in the early-mid 90s looking for remains and live POWs. How dare you call McCain a liar. Probably some stiff neck white shirt inside the beltway Bush Republican....sliver-spooned soft lackie.

Perot's primary value in 1992 was to alert the nation to the economic woes of the nation, and his true value lies in that respect, if any, given the fact that he's been incognito since that time, quietly reaping his profits from the direction the nation has taken since then, presumably.

That he may be a day late, and a dollar short in offering any advice to the nation should be obvious. Still, from the perspective of our economic extravagance, and where we stand, he might be more illuminating of how the situation is worse now than in 1992 with more specifics - to add to his credibility.

At this point, any of the power elite, or the celebrity elite can make appearances, or remarks touting the record or benefits of specific candidates, none of which qualifies as an endorsement worthy of the American people - without specifics. Such dog and pony shows are now way overdone, and often deter America from the real business at hand - of electing a competent President.

I'm voting for Dr. Paul and I'll tell you why. He will abolish the IRS, the single largest waste of tax dollars on the planet. Unless you're including the Bush oil war....hmmm wonder what Dr. Paul's thoughts are on THAT waste of lives and dollars. Please, for the sake of our children's futures......

What books are they? I'd like to read them for myself and form my own opinion.

  • Posted By: Thomas Jefferson @ 01/17/2008 2:39:39 PM

Yes, I agree. I'm voting for Dr. Paul I want my country and freedom that my forefather's fought and died for back.

    • Posted By: ProfessorH @ 01/17/2008 2:58:57 PM

HEY! THOMAS JEFFERSON! The country your forefathers fought and died for protected and promoted slavery, prohibited women from divorcing and had an agrarian economy. How well would that work today? But, I guess you have kind of the right idea. Voting Republican is the best shot at bringing back slavery and putting women back in the kitchen!

2 comments then I'll rest-1. Claiming Ross Perot has intellect seems risky 2. Doo Dah-easy to be cynical yet you offer no options to the candidates out there other than not voting? This is dangerous as the system we have is the system we have and it is up to all to get engaged in it as Americans whether it works for us or not. It's the fight that counts not always the result. There is much to be gained from the struggle and idealism. The nation not politicians or the cynical await action. Vote for change!

Ross Perot is dead on the money. No one can question McCain's conduct as a POW and t he leadership he provided. One can however question the conduct of the last Senate Committee on POW's and MIA's headed up by McCain and Kerry. It was absolutely a charade. He is a bold face liar if he says they evaluated all the evidence. Maybe after they altered the evidence and then through it all out!!!

Ron Paul for President? Another Perot. An idealouge, like Nader and Perot will potentially hurt the best candidate's chance for election. Why doesn't Paul campaign and get out there early on instead of him and his followers sitting on the sidelines. The Gold Standard...has Paul heard of William Jennings Bryant who ran for President at least 4 times. The "Cross of Gold". Paul is so out in left field he is not worthy of more thought.

It Obama isnt Muslim why did he take his oath of office with his hand on the koran not the bible? Hmmmm make you think doesn't

    • Posted By: El presidente @ 01/17/2008 2:46:38 PM

CNPTEXAS you may be thinking of a Congressman from Minnesota who is Muslim. But having said that I do not think Obama could ever become President. If a man with the stature of Ross Perot cannot ascertain misinformation about about Obama's religion and his pledge of allegiance, then what can we expect from the millions of less informed and vulnerable Americans. I am not going to waste my vote on Obama, I am voting for McCain.

CPN Texan you may be confusing Obama with an African American who in the congress who converted to the Muslim faith. This is why Obama will never become President. If a person of Ross Perot's staure and intelellect cannot separate misinformation about Obama's religion and allegianc eto the countryt, , what can we expect from the millions of misinformed and vulnerable Americans who receive the same type of misinformation. I am not going to waste my vote on Obama. I am voting for McCain.

I see lots of candidate endorsements on this page. Are there really any fully functioning adults out there who would believe ANYTHING some "vote hog" running for office says in order to get to get elected? How many lies will it take before the public finally figures this out? Amazing.

  • Posted By: Thomas Jefferson @ 01/17/2008 2:38:15 PM

Amen to that! Ron Paul for President. What America was and should be again. I'm tired of the current administration spitting on the constitution. Vote for RON PAUL and tell everyone you know about his hope for America.

  • Posted By: aslan @ 01/17/2008 2:31:32 PM

Yes, good point, as citizens- Constitution first and Bible is a personal text that stays personal-as citizens, we see things via the Constitution and believe in separated power and individual rights. As citizens and humand beings, we start with our laws and don't bend them like Bush would, did...
