I'd say that "Nuttier than a Fruitcake" still applies.

obama is a muslim, plain and simple, he has no business running
Let me reiterate a comment made earlier:
"False commnets regarding Obama are so outlandish they don't even deserve our attention except some fools actualy believe them and bigots encourage them."
Let me reiterate what an earlier post has already said:
"False comments regarding Obama are so outlandish they don't even deserve our attention except some fools actually believe them and bigots encourage them.
I'm sick of the ignorance in this country."
Shame on Perot for parroting the myth of live POWs. I'm old enough to remember the aftermath of WWII and the rumors that floated around for so many years of secret German prison camps where the American prisoners languished, not knowing the war was over. I remember the victims of those rumors, my uncle among them, who suffered for years waiting to hear that my cousin had been found, doomed to die with the heartbreak this vicious talk had caused. Leave it alone, Ross. Don't perpetuate the sorrow!
Ross Perot makes my blood boil!! That little pimple totally skated on the Enron debacle. He produced videos and conducted seminars on how to trade electricity using the power grids as a commodity. Furthermore, his rescue of the hostages during the first days of the Reagan administration shows his aadacity to use the hostages in a political ploy to boost his own ego.
McCain should run as a Democrat because essentially that is what he is- he would win if he ran as a Dem but Democrats won't vote for him because of the R next to his name - Do people just vote along party lines now and not look at the issues? McCain got together with Liberal Lion Teddy Kennedy and put together the "Amnesty for Illegals" bill - this is a conservative? NOT. Mitt Romney is the only conservative running- You can tell by where he stands on the issues - that and the fact that he gets labeled a religious whackjob because he goes to church and has good family values - he ought be ashamed!!
This tid-bit of information reaches the heights of publishing in NEWSWEEK? Lord have mercy....
John McCain is a scumbag and is certainly no war hero. Too bad that he became a prisoner for that lenght of time, but maybe if he weren't a second rate pilot, he could have avoided such. People want change in this country and they will certainly vote for it this November. McCain, with his 27 yrs. in the Senate, and having the most "K" street backers (32) of any candidate does not fit the bill...Sorry John, you need to direct the "Straight Talk Express" to the nearest retirement community in Arizona.

Bush is an absolutely awful President. One of the first things he did as the new President was to form an energy commission where he placed his oil company friends along with Cheney, an oil man. They held the meetings in privacy so the public could not learn how they were about to get screwed over on oil!
Mc Cain should have run as a Democrat since essentially that is what he really is- the only conservative running is Mitt Romney. McCain would win if he ran as a Dem - he is in trouble now because Democrats won't vote for him because he has an R next to his name even though he is without a doubt closer to them- Do people really look at the issues any more or just vote for the party- most of the candidate both Republicans and Democrats are leaning more to the left than ever- McCain got together with Teddy Kennedy to create what we all know is the "Amnesty for Ilegal Immigrants bill - can you can seriously say he is a conservative? I think not.

Americans, can't put these so-called Candidates, in a sack and shake them up and see who comes out
the winner. There is no one of them worth being President. I knew McCain, was hiding something.
No one helps poor people and none of then does what they say they going do. Look what shape
Bush has got America, into. Our Soldiers, are being killed and no end in sight of War. He wanted to be remembered for something and he has the war and the deaths of our young people.
I'M NO ADMIRER OF ROSS PEROT. HOWEVER, HE ALONE GOT IT RIGHT CONCERNING THE NAFTA TRADE AGREEMENT; "THAT GIANT SUCKING SOUND YOU HEAR IS 30 MILLION JOBS LEAVING THIS COUNTRY". HOW RIGHT-ON HE WAS.
This article is pandering to a wealthy man and his opinions. Did you elect to print his "interview" because he is a former spectacle with future hopes to continue as such in the American Mind? If you wish to inform the public, please do so, but you lessen your credibility as a reliable news source when you sink to publishing allegations - specifically about the live Viet Nam prisoners - that you cannot confirm and, apparently, investigations indicate that they are false allegations. Do you have credible evidence to the contrary? If not, then farm this off to a sensational rag or risk becoming one yourself.
On the contrary, I think it is about time we heard from Perot. Did anyone really want to vote for George Bush 1 ? I'll never count my vote for Perot as wasted any more than if it had been for GB 1. Bush gets questioned for not finishing off Sadamm, but far worse blunder was not finding every former Soviet nuclear scientist and getting them onto American soil (or killing them if they wouldn't come) immediately after the Soviets fell. Instead he let them live in poverty. Now we have no idea where they are, probably on the payroll of the Chinese, N Korea, Iran, or Al Quaeda. George Bush 1 dropped the ball at the end of the Cold War.
Perot is an old fashioned kind of patriot, serving his country whether in office or not. Those who call him a moron aren't qualified to mow his lawn..
Oh Ross. You're still nutty, aren't ya?
Ross Perot is very judgemental to make those comments about John McCain's personal life. He does not know what it is like to be in a prison camp for 5 1/2 years, and then come back to fit into marriage. It must have been incredibly difficult. Sen. McCain acknowledge that he made mistakes then, and a politician admitting a mistake is rare. He tells you exactly what you need to hear, not what other politicians tell you. Look at this man's family history in the military, to think he would leave someone behind is the most ridiculous thing I could ever imagine. It seems the smear politics will continue. I have met Sen. McCain on 6 occasions, and he is a decent, God fearing, man, and is the most respected person in this Presidential race. Please do your homework, and look at the facts. You may not agree with every issue, but you can't question his character and integrity. He is ready to be our next President. Thank you and God Bless.
All I know is I have no incentive to vote at all this year.......the politics in the USA is the same as it has been for years say one thing before election and do another after the election. I think we've been back to 'taxation without representation" for many years and until we have another viable party that truly represents the average citizen it will be sorry to say more of the same.
Yea, say what you want about the guy, but he made some ominous predictions.
Ross Perot's assesment of McCain's action vis a vis the POW/MIA issue is dead on. McCain's performance
while a member of the Senate POW/MIA Committee was a disgrace. It is for THAT reason that thousands of Vietnam veterans hate John McCain's guts...and I'm one of them. I have no issue with his absurd medal count, after all, he is the son and grandson of Navy Admirals, so it is natural that he would be heaped with fruit salad. But, McCain is no hero and I find it disgusting that he had the nerve to state on national TV that Bud Day thought, "I was the bravest man he ever knew." Is he serious? Certainly NOT humble but, McCain has always had an out sized opinion of himself.
The general public is woefully ignorant regarding the issue of POW/MIA's. And Ross Perot's opinion is shared by thousands of Vietnam veterans, including myself. John McCain's behavior, while a memeber of the Senate Committee on POW/MIA's was disgraceful and he deserves to be exposed for it.
For KMalis: Your suggestion that investigations have shown that POW's were NOT left behind in Vietnam is laughable. The credible evidence supporting that contention is overwhelming, despite what McCain, Kerry and the governement says. I suggest a read of Hendon's AN ENORMOUS CRIME. John McCain is a media
hero
WITH ALL DUE RESPECT TO MR. PEROT AND HE IS DUE RESPECT FOR HE SUPPORT OF THE POWs AND THEIR FAMILIES, HE IS IN ERROR WHEN HE SAYS "Other POWs won't even sit at the same table with him."
ALTHOUGH NO LONGER A POW (A RPOW THANK GOD), I SAT WITH SENATOR MCCAIN IN JAIL AND I WILL CONTINUE TO PROUDLY SIT AT ANY TABLE WITH HIM.
