Ross Perot should know better, or else I seriously misread him when he was running for Pres. I thought he was basically a conservative. Evidently he is a CINO (Conservative in name only). Romney is a nice guy but many Christians will not vote for him; a few of his proposed policies are moderate to liberal, and because of that he does not have a chance to win. Fred Thompson is the only(or at least most) conservative presently on the Republican roster. Anything other than a conservative running against any of the Democratic three hopefulsk does not have a chance of getting elected. It will be a Republican disaster, and with McCain or Huckabee, a bloodbath in both houses of Congress . This would have been a great year for Perot to have been the Republican candidate. USNA1952W

Ross Perot IS nuttier than a fruitcake. Why would McCain have any reason to suppress knowledge of POWs in Vietnam or the alleged transfer of POWs to the old USSR for experimentation? Absurd. And it was interesting timing on the accusations. This is a hatchet job on McCain right before the most critical primary to date. Judging by his remarks, Perot is a biased, kool-aid drinking Romney supporter.

Ross, you already gave us 8 years of Bill Clinton by taking away votes from the elder Bush. Don't goof up another election for the American public. McCain is the only Republican who can beat Clinton or Obama. Go check the latest polls RealClearPolitics.com if you don't believe me.

I don't double for a NY second that McCain would sell this country out for his own best interests! As for my choice in 2008, I am supporting Congressman Duncan Hunter, as are many of the members of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies (NFRA)! The Missouri Republican Assembly endorsed the Congressman in October 2007. He has proven to be a far sighted individual and has faught for the safety of this nation both in Vietnam and on tghe floor of the House. He has repeatedly demonstrated his strong desire to protect our borders against the hordes of Illegals entering our nation and bring epidemics once thought wiped out in the Western Hemisphere. It's time to protect America, and stop giving away ouur wealth and assets to foreign nations!

For those who say he's crazy... He's a billionaire!!! That dosn't happen by accident. If you want to decrease deficits and increase trade and productivity we as a people need to take a closer look at the ultra rich especially if they made there money the old fashion way.

I don't care for Mr. McCain, nor Mr. Obama. But Mr. Pee-Rot needs to crawl back under that rock he crawled out of before someone steps on that Pee-brain of his. Wow...no wonder we are witnessing the demise of the dream of the United States Constitution...just read all the hate, discontent, and misinformation in this discussion as well as any other and it is clear that no one really knows how to get it together any more. Our country is leaderless. As a result, the members of this society resort to the only thing they can do...impotently slash at anyone who dares to voice an opinion. Perhaps that is why we are all underwhelmed by the slate of people running for political office at any level. Only the mediocre do so because the best and brightest do not want to put up with the ignorant accusations that they would have to endure to reach a higher office. I am amazed that someone with the apparent quality of character that Barack Obama has is still willing to try for the presidency. This country is a fading shadow of what it used to be.
