I'm not fond of Mr. McCain. I can't stand Mr. Obama. But Mr. Pee-Rot needs to crawl back under that rock he crawled out from under before someone steps on that pee-brain of his.

If, "We the people" elect another republican to the office of President .I think Canada is going to see a rise in population...My name is Kirk Springer, that's where I stand

RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT Do you know who/what the Federal Reserve is????

  • Posted By: washington109 @ 01/17/2008 4:32:54 PM

More crap from MSNBC (should be called DNN for DEMOCRAT news network....).. Ross Perot's opinion and anything that old buffoon says are about as worthless as Hillary's claim that she has experience in the White House. (She does, about as much as the pastry chef, there.)

  • Posted By: Tatianna @ 01/17/2008 4:31:57 PM

Ross Perot is the finest man I have ever known- He helped my husband, Ssgt Thomas Oliver, who is an ALS veteran from the Persian Gulf war who is completely paralyzed and on life support , get nursing care, a handicap accessible van, and anything else we needed for his care! Ross Perot has a deep love for our country and for those who have fought and shed their blood, sweat, and tears for our nation- Tat Oliver

Great story about Ross. Everyone should remember these most important words this Presidential election cycle" VOTE ANYBODY BT HILLARY"!

  • Posted By: treasurfinder @ 01/17/2008 3:57:32 PM

McCain is too weak on many issues. He doesn't appear physically strong enough to make it 4 years in the white house....he appears to be hiding something...watch his eyes when he talks. Huckabee's a joke. He spent 30 years as a baptist minister, his ONLY claim to fame is raising taxes to build roads, he tries to be a jokester too often, and he just doesn't have the backbone to go up against some of the big guns in foreign diplomatic relations. IF YOU PEOPLE OUT THERE DON'T WISE UP AND PICK THE CANDIDATE THAT ACTUALLY HAS THE EXPERIENCE TO LEAD THIS NATION, THEN I FOR ONE HAVE NO PITY ON YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN WHEN THE WORST OF TIMES COMES KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR. IF YOU DON'T TAKE A LONG HARD LOOK AT MR. ROMNEY, THEN YOU MAY AS WELL VOTE FOR MICKEY MOUSE, BECAUSE NO OTHER CANDIDATE HAS THE MORAL BACKBONE TO LEAD THIS NATION.

    • Posted By: ILuvAmerica @ 01/17/2008 4:29:38 PM

It was 9 years as a Baptist Minister, and was awarded one of the 5 Best Governors in America by Time Magazine. Now who believes in fairy tales?

  • Posted By: FoonTheElder @ 01/17/2008 4:27:32 PM

    He's still basically a corporate nut-job.

  • Posted By: Thomas Jefferson @ 01/17/2008 4:22:48 PM

RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT the only honest non-corruptible choice to lead this country.

  • Posted By: westymarine @ 01/17/2008 4:22:31 PM

Ther's something about this old guy ,a little crazy but maybe just a little more true! whats he got to lose, the truth can be crazy.

  • Posted By: ILuvAmerica @ 01/17/2008 4:21:51 PM

    Yeah?...
    1. The Dem. (including Obama and Hillay) nave had Congress and the House for some time now, what have they done?
    2. The picture of McCain holding hands with Ted Kennedy while proclaiming that they will give amnesty (hey I would like to only pay $2,000 for years free healthcare and no taxes, foodstamp and welfare) to 12mil+ illegal aliens will never be erased from my mind, no matter what McCain says now. My husband has to work double for less, we will not hire illegals, so other businesses come and underbid us 50% because they do.
    3. Hillary and Obama make sense?, free everything!!!...there's nothing free, I would love to have free healthcare, but I will not bankrupt this country and my daugthers and great grandchildren for it. Just Look at California: Rampart illegal immigration, voters mandating all kinds of things, while not wanting to pay more taxes, the state will be bankrup soon, and then WE are going to have to pay for their stupidity.
    4. This year vote the Issues!, not black, white or woman, just the Issues!.

  • Posted By: admriker444 @ 01/17/2008 3:56:08 PM

This election is a total fraud. All the candidates with the exception of Ron Paul are members of the Council on Foreign Relations. For those unaware, its an organization founded by the Rockefellers to promote world goverment. So go ahead and vote for Hillary, Romney or whoever you want but know this...american sovereignty will soon disappear. The plans are already moving ahead with a merger with Canada and Mexico and thats just the 1st step. If you wish to save this country and avoid being a slave to a corporate run elite goverment of banking families it would be wise to vote for the only non-member of the CFR...Ron Paul

    • Posted By: treasurfinder @ 01/17/2008 4:03:03 PM

A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Mickey Mouse. Can you not envision this man talking with Vladimir Putin... or any other leader of a foreign nation??? If you want a quick end to life as you know it, then cast your vote for MICKEY.....

      • Posted By: Thomas Jefferson @ 01/17/2008 4:20:32 PM

You, my friend, are a direct descendant of Micky Mouse if you think Bush or Huckleberry or Hillary or anyone in politics can converse with Putin better than Dr. Paul. You just destroyed any credibility you ever hoped to have with the educated masses. RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT

  • Posted By: wazzamattaU @ 01/17/2008 4:02:45 PM

Without this nut, there would not have been a Clinton 'dynasty' which we are still paying for. And no Hillary because no one outside of Arkansas would have heard of her. So thanks a lot, Ross! What about securing our borders? Why don't you have anything to say about the 'Hispanic vote'? I thought only Americans could vote, but they've taken over Texas, California, New York, and soon, Florida. Thanks again....

    • Posted By: LetsReason @ 01/17/2008 4:20:14 PM

Argh, you clueless, narrow-minded people! It is all or nothing for EVERYTHING. Clinton was a louse of a husband, and certainly I did not agree with everything he did, but that sucker certainly got the deficit under control. The "trillions" of DEBT YOU and I hold was decreasing under the "Clinton dynasty" and now it is growing as fast or faster than ever.

I agree with the concern about the influx of illegal immigrants and the myriad of problems it is causing. But man, dismissing a presidency wholesale because you do not like something is ignorant and irresponsible thinking.

  • Posted By: westymarine @ 01/17/2008 4:19:13 PM

I like perot crazy as he seems he has no reason to lie maybe its more than the ravings of an old geezer

  • Posted By: OutofWorkinLouisiana @ 01/17/2008 2:11:35 PM

I agree with OutofWorkinMichigan. Mr. Perot charted actual data that he and his team of researchers unearthed. No spin was injected into his findings and he reported what was actual. I belive that had NAFTA not been inacted. my job, and the plant I worked at, would not have been packed up and sent to Mexico and Canada.

    • Posted By: OldUncleTom @ 01/17/2008 4:17:46 PM

You might want to consider that if your company had not moved, some other company (maybe mine) would have gone to Mexico anyway to make what your plant produced. Then your company would have been forced out of business. Either way, you lose, so don't blame NAFTA. I did not mention Canada, because I'm pretty sure Canadians make more money than Cajuns already.

    • Posted By: OutofWorkinMichigan @ 01/17/2008 2:19:45 PM

Everyone seems to be blaming the forclosures on interest rates, but everybody better take a look at the momentum of closing businesses and sending workers home with nowhere else to go and seek work. I really love it when everybody suggest going elsewhere to find work, but do they realize you have to have money to move? Our legislators have allowed the companies to set up shop off shore, without tarriffs or penalty, but the savings is not being passed to the consumer. What items that are made offshore cost less now than when they were made in the US? We no longer make our clothes, washers, dryers, car parts, tv, carpet, of furniture here anymore. The top investors and CEO's keep the profits with no liability of buildings or workers! Great enterprise!!

McCain was right. Perot is STILL is nuttier than a fruitcake. Apaprently he gets his facts from Rambo movies.

  • Posted By: daneyuleb @ 01/17/2008 4:03:53 PM

"Perot was pleasantly surprised when I told him that Obama was a Christian, not a Muslim, and relieved when I informed him that the e-mail Perot (and untold others) received about Obama not respecting the Pledge of Allegiance was a fraud."

How much money has Perot sent in response to emails from Nigeria? God what a buffoon.

    • Posted By: LetsReason @ 01/17/2008 4:15:34 PM

"Buffoon" seems appropriate on many levels in this thread. You read that information and take it as he is an idiot. Of course, you'd probably agree with me that tens of thousands of everyday Americans are idiots as well then (probably millions by this litmus test). Just peruse the rest of the responses here and bathe yourself in the idiocy along your lines of judgment.

Is it possible to look at it this way: This "fruitcake", who was sane enough to create billions from very little, was willing to hear what Jonathan said and accept something as truth that he was mistaken on. One of Perot's character markers was that he shot straight and would not hold back the truth. Here he is accepting that he misunderstood something. But you cannot see it from that perspective.

I do not know that he is NOT whacky or losing it, but I certainly can see that his accepting of this knowledge fits with he remarks from years ago that he is honest.

Just like a previous poster, point and example given in the same post. Congratulations Daneyuleb,

Gang, who do you think is telling people that McCain is a traitor and Obama a muslim? Yep, it's your good old friends the evangelical "Christian" republican smear machine. That these people call themselves "Christian" in the first place should (and if they're right, will) earn them a spot in the 7th circle of hell where they so richly belong. In the meantime, after these past eight years, anyone who ever lets another Republican take office and believes a single word they say has only themselves to blame for what happens to the world. You can hate Clinton (either one or both, or heck, throw Chelsea in there too), but the EVIL that has been perpetuated on the world by Republicans over the past decade is truly without equal in an otherwise peaceful and prosperous time. Shame on any of you who take the hateful bait these people offer. Research the validity of what Rush, and Coulter and Fox News tells you and you'll see that 99.9% of it is hyperbole at best and outright lies at worst. Or doesn't that matter so long as you can wave the (made in China) flag? Disgusting...

I too am voting for DR. RON PAUL. My top concern is illegal immigration. The latest news is that one forth of births in America were Hispanic last year... You do the math regarding what that cost and will cost Americans for healthcare, schooling, insurance, etc. Giving illegals access to social security, don't get me started. Dr. Paul is the only candidate who will address the issue of ILLEGAL immigration. He stands for real American values across the board. No, I'm not part of his campaign, just an American standing with Dr. Paul's solutions to fix the nations fractured systems.

    • Posted By: wazzamattaU @ 01/17/2008 4:13:54 PM

Yes, I'm with you, as so many others. But the media, and especially the Democrats, are silent because they already fear the 'Hispanic vote'. I don't get it. Only Americans can vote, and to become one, you must understand English. Dealing with this invasion is long overdue. I'd like to vote for whoever has a plan to secure our borders.

    • Posted By: pcjag21 @ 01/17/2008 4:10:25 PM

Countyfive29; Are you hoping for a "white America" Give it up; You are just like the rest of uneducated white trash people that instead of trying to find a solution to a problem you decide to pass the buck and blame some one else for your mistakes and failed attempts of succes on your younger years.

I am a Hispanic Immigrant I Pay taxes like you and anyone else in this Great Nation I have 3 kids and as you may know they are all hispanics; But I have been a legal guardian of a caucasian kid for the last 8 years and he is doing just fine; I have a descent full time job and it allows me to provide for my kids with out having to apply for all that free crap that people like you acuse us immigrants of taking advantage of; I also do volunteer work by my own choice and for the last 3 years I had my kids involved in coaching Basketball to younger kids in a City base program.
I owed a lot to this Great Country it give me the opportunities that my own country denied me of ( And please be asure that I did not used any kind of city; State or any kind of program to get to where I am. I am not rich, but because of the opportunities that all kinds of people gived to me I can provide for my kids and also support them in whatever program they want to get involved with.
Please Educate yourself and clear out all that ignorance that consumes you; I have friends from different Social, Economic and Ethnic backgrounds and I can tell you that........ WE (all Races) ALL HAVE GOOD AND BAD PEOPLE IN EACH OTHERS ETHNIC GROUP.
Wake Up; Grow up and let's find solutions to Help this Great Nation Achieve Succes; nobody wins if all wea are going to be doing is pointing the finger and finding someone to place blame on.
      Wish you the best!!!!

It's easy for me to see just what mentality (as well as the educational level) posters have that resort to comments such as "idiot." Ross Perot and thousands of others who investigate (get to know) a candidate before casting their vote are NOT "idiots" Because someone is "pleasantly surprised" only shows that they have another piece of knowledge to enable them to make a better decision rather than following "party pack" mentality.
