re performance of Cher- Viveca contends that Cher was not solicited by Hillary and that someone else had done that. Lack of knowledge about this case should be embarrassing to her (but it apparently isn't). Yes, Aaron Tonken indeed made the initial request. But there is more to the story. What Viveca did not tell you is that two of the performers, Cher and Diana Ross, required a direct phone call from Hillary. Hillary called both of them (she admitted on tape talking to Cher) and sealed the deal. Without Hillary acting as the closer, they would not have performed. Yes, she absolutely solicited them. The other performers were not solicited directly by her.
