With the googleplex (+) stars in the universe, the likelyhood of the existence of other sentient, intelligent life forms is unquestionable. In the same way. it is undeniable that some will be highly advance - similar to what we will become in the future (if we manage to weather our speicies' penchant for stupidity on a gloabl scale). There's nothing amazing about technology that may be highly superior to ours; in the same way, there's nothing unbelievable about it. True, a person's description might be distorted because of a basic lack of comprehension - but then most religious texts are highly stylized and distorted because of the same reasons... yet, something compels most societies to be relatively accepting of those!
The chances of other life outside our earth is probably 100%... hard to believe there is only 1 planet within the proper temperature range with water to support life in the entire universe. It shouldn???t be hard for people to believe in aliens, just in the fact that they picked our tiny dot in space out of the billions and billions of stars and planets.
One point that seems to make no sense is that everyone says the UFO they saw was traveling extremely fast; however, they never mention hearing a sonic boom??? Unless aliens somehow developed a way around friction then there has to be a sonic boom.... just a thought.
Lots of things don???t make sense, a lot of people have commented saying they are watching us, well why the heck would they have all these flashing lights if they are watching us, you would think they wouldn???t want us to notice.
I believe in other life, but honestly if you take a slightly logical stance, majority of the sightings can be discredited. We cannot just throw away what we know of physics out the door by saying, who knows, the aliens could have found a way.
this is for adamk. If you are only 11 years old how do you know what you believe in? you should still be playing with your toys and being a young boy. You don't know if your an atheist ,baptist, catholic,or anything yet. You only know what you have been told. Wait till your old enough to be on a battlefield,or some other moment where your "faith" will be tested. Until then have fun being a KID.
Dude, what kind of response is that? Is there a special age when one can question the existence of God? Be real, the time to act is when the question(s) arises. If Adam is questioning the existence of God, then now is the time to find out! People need to realize that there is no set time when one can inquire about the existence of God. Adam can be a "regular" kid and play and have fun with his friends BUT he can also find out about the nature of God.
Adam, God does exist and He is REAL!!! You must not allow others to stop your search for God if that is your desire. God wants for you to reach out to Him. Where do you begin, try "PRAYER". He is always listening.
thats just it , it is not just a few, its more likely in the thousands since it has been happening for a very long time ,over decades

im not a believer of the UFO's their just an imagination of the past people.
some of them throwing a round object in the sky and take a picture of it and so there is a UFO.
hehe.. .just believe in jesus christ our lord.. .coz god is magnificent!!!
why do we need only to believe only in jesus and nothing more isn't that a little narrow minded I believe there is more out there and i don't think God would hold that against us its not like we want to worship aliens or other unexplainable things that are out there
Hmmmm..UFO's, do you guys believe in that, I mean if we have them, if they were real and existing, don't you think they would seen around normally and not just the sighting experience seen by a few.
any one that trys to explain away u f o s remind me of, the people that find little clues to our past, in bones, fossils, ect, thay realy dont know what happened, a million or so eons ago, thay remind of the chimp with a stick, trying to get a termite out of the nest to eat, we have not evovled enough yet to make concluseions hell look at me i cant even spell yet

Why are all of the comments marked the 26th of January? Just wondering...
Wow, this article is just plain sad. I've actually seen UFO's, but I was NEVER sleep-deprived during any of the incidents, and neither was my father. And why the hell would my brain make that stuff up? I wouldn't look up at the sky unless I saw something that didn't belong there!
OK, how about all of the ufo sightings that had been taken place during NASA exploration.
We are talking about a tremendous number of sightings way far from earthquakes and any other terrestrial atmospheric event, and the witnesses being basically well trained scientists and observers beside being astronauts.

another great UFO article
i have a physics degree and to hear others in my field say certain things are not possible, is a joke. that is a very narrow minded view. there are still things in the universe that science has not solved, and to always put a human outlook on everything is very limiting. no one can say what is and what isn't. just because we many not be smart enough to do those things is not reason to say they can be done
amen to that!
When will America be destroyed by the aliens?? When is this so called doomsday? Are you sure it's not Americans developing machinery to take over the world??? My lewe jurre..........I don't like stupid american people who think the world revolves around them and everything in it!!!! If a bomb goes off in america the whole world must suffer. you people should stop prouncing around thinking you own the world. we all human and you not that special so please STOP with all your nonsense and get real!!!!!!
Chill out dude!!! Life is tough enough. Look, we should all humble ourselves and realize that we need each other inorder to make it. This bickering between races, cultures, sexes, religions, and many other differences won't help us solve our problems. Let's unite and work out our problems in a more civilized manner.
I guess camera's experience the same illusions??????? I don't know exactly what I believe about UFO's, but they are certainly more than an illusion. Most certainly the mind can play tricks and misinterpret what it senses at times. The huge sun on the horizon that looks like it is so close you could touch it is one of those. That is because of a lack of reference points. A saucer shaped object flying behind a tree is certainly a much different situation. These objects could be military rather than alien although they certainly also could be alien. I find it very amusing when scientist say these are not possiblly aiien because it would defy Physics as though they are so certain that nothing could ever be learned about the subject in the future. Arrogance is the 500 lb gorilla of knowledge. I do not know what UFO's are, but no one can tell me that they are an illusion. It wlll all be clear someday and maybe they are a natural part of our environment or maybe not, but not an illusion, of that I feel confident. .
im not a believer of UFO's teir just an imagination of the past people. some of them throwing a round object in the sky and take a picture of it and so there is a UFO.
hehe how stupid.. .just believe in jesus christ our lord and savior and for everything elses. coz god is magnificent!!!
one night sometime in late 1980s, i saw a rotating (i could tell by the bright lights, yeah much like the ones reported) disc-shaped object hovering near our house through our bedroom window--hovering as in, flashed just above our window, went still for a while rotating, then zigzagged out of our line of vision at such an unbelievable speed... just when it went still (rotating in place), i thought i was imagining things i pinched myself and asked my roommates to go have a look-see themselves. with the shocked transfixed look in their faces and the rather shakey verbal confirmation of both, i know that we saw something rather strange resembling something that's supposed to be only "imagined" and exists only in books--ridiculous we thought aouselves, but what can we do, we saw it... here we are, all professionals: me w/ a graduate degree; my roommate a managing director of a multinational advertising firm; the other, a full-time school instructor also w/ a graduate degree... no, sir, i don't think we're delusional. more so: all delusional all at one time ; )... yeah, if the definition of a UFO stands as an "unidentified" flying object, then by all means we saw one--and 'm not at all implying here the pop notion at all that it's from outer space. 'm just saying that with the operational definition as stated, we saw something that does not conform to flying objects we're accustomed to... i understand the popular disbelief. it's really hard to believe until you encounter one yourself... and by the way, 'm not so fond of "fiction". . .
we haven't really discussed about it w/ others as ridiculous as we thought it was but w/ various reports resembling ours, how could we not? this time it's happening again in America. it happened to us on the other side of the globe, in one of the countries in the Asia Pacific.
