If you don't mind a brief history of American politics then please read. Dirty politics started with Alexander Hamilton vs Thomas Jefferson. George Washington hated political parties and warned that they would ruin the country. Aaron Burr killed Hamilton in a duel because of Hamilton's smear campaign against Burr's run for NY Governor. Politics these days is mild in comparison but Washington was right. We are polarized and hateful of eachother because of political parties. I don't have the answer because there are different ideologies but I refuse to hate my neighbor because of his political views.

A Dream Deferred, yes the Clintons are running in this campaign for themselves, presently the Democratic nominating process is the backdrop for the ongoing Bill and Hillary domestic drama writ large on the National stage. Bill needs to deliver 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, a house Hillary has alway covetted, in order for him to be finally forgiven all his past transgressions. In the meantime the Democratic party and the Nation, if Bill succeeds, will have to subordinate all other dreams and practicalities, in order to permit the Bill and Hillary domestic drama to continue in the poblic arena.

Life long Democrat here.... this guy has done nothing but tarnish the parties image for personal gain. I am getting quite sick of it. and quite sick of him, and his power hungry wife. You want Change in the countries direction? Won't find it with the Clintons... we will just get more of the same 'ol lies... We're seeing it already!!! These 2 charlatans are going to tear the democratic party apart. I see it happening already.

Bill Clinton is a sexist pig who put his lust before his country. I do not want to see him in the Whitehouse again for any reason. I voted fro him twice and he betrayed my trust then. Now he's just a blowhard with a wife who put her political ambitions above her pride. They are both losers in my book. My vote goes to the war mongering McCain over them any day.

It's becoming increasingly clear that the Clintons aren't running as Democrats, they're running as Clintons. Bill's willingness to become so involved in this campaign shows that he's got no qualms with fragmenting the Democratic Party in an attempt to regain power, if even by proxy.

She may win the battle but she won't win the war. Democrates better believe that the Republicans will win in Nov. if Bill Clinton keeps this up. Hillary will also understand what a fractured party will do for her....try nothing.

In 1996, then Pres. Bill Clinton signed an immigration enforcement bill, IIRAIRA. He signed it into law with few misgivings. The bill was designed to end illegal immigration without offering any increase in legal means to do so. If he had not signed this law, arguably the lives of immigrants in the U.S. would be much better.

This piece of the Clinton legacy, IIRAIRA, can and should be an issue in the '08 campaign because it really is the foundation for the attrition agenda. I think a fair question for any candidate would be, "knowing what we do now, would you have supported IIRAIRA?"

HRC and BO are both excellent candidates. In my opinion it was BO who has tried to use and inject the race card, which is rediculous. Hillary and Bill Clinton have both worked for and stand for racial and social justice.
Their reord and their siupport in the black community has shown this over time. what hillary said about Prsident Lyndon Johnson is correct that it took President LBJ to get civil rights legislation past. This in no way deminishes the life work of DR ML King. Conservative talk shows have used this as an issue to devide democrats and liberals. Don't be suckered by the conservative game and agenda to try and devide and conquer the democrats effort to bring some equality back to the white house. Regardless if it is BO or HRC both stand for equal rights for all cultures, races, sexualm preference. Stop letting urselves be used by the conservatives. get back on message regarding equal rights for all, health care, the economy stupid and the war. I believe Obama and his supporters have been more guilty of smearing HRC regarding race just as HRC is more guilty of trying to smear BO regarding possible drug use as a student. Both of these tactics have to stop or we are playing into the conservatives hands. We are family and have much more that unites us than devides us. lets keep our eye on whats important, equality, health care, economy, stop the war, a change is needed from the republicans that got us in this mess. Either Democrat will get us out.
