This good cop/bad cop routine of Bill and Hill is transparently manipulative and disingenuous of them both. Take Bill out of the picture for a moment. Imagine he is sidelined through illness and can't campaign. The question then becomes: can Hillary stand on her own two feet? For a woman who repeatedly claims she is ready to take over the Presidency from Day One, she certainly seems to be relying on her hubby a lot. That does not reflect favorably on her executive ability. She pretends to be a feminist but still turns to her old man to pave the way for her. Shameless.

Comment: I am very glad to see Sen. Kennedy and Rep. Emanuel taking principled stands against the Clintons' race-coding and shabbiness. It galls to see Hillary Clinton invoke the best traditions of the Democratic Party on human rights when as late as two years ago she said she supported torture (see www.politico.com/news/stories/0907/6050.html ). For me, a candidate who supported torture just two years ago is as unaccepteable as a candidate who supported racial segregation two years ago. Hillary was the only Democratic presidential contender who did not reject torture from the start.

"Just pee in the jar, Mr. President." Willy looks like he just got pulled over for DUI. Dems have NO CLASS.

If the Hill/Billy bashing of Senator Obama continues, I'll probably vote for Howdy-Doody. This type of intra party fighting is exactly what I think the country is tired of. Is winning for the Clintons the end all?

If the Hill/Billy show continues I'll vote for Howdy-Doody. This is exactly what this country does not need.

If Hillary and Bill will blatantly lie to Americans about Obama's words, saying Obama said Republicans had BETTER ideas in the nineties instead of MORE ideas -- a great and vital distinction -- what lies won't they tell us in their desperate, unethical quest to reach the White House again? I'm already sick to my stomach and soul from seven years of a pathologically lying administration. Hillary and Bill and only offering more of the same. The pathetically unprincipled, power-hungry Clintons are but a constant and keen reminder of why we need what Obama offers -- political life and government on a higher plane.

As a lifelong Democrat who voted for Bill twice, I have become so appalled with the Clint;ons' distortions and smears against Obama that I will crawl through brokend glass to vote Rebublican this year if Hillary gets the nomination, and every Democratic friend I have feels the same. Character, honesty, and integrity matter in the White House, and their Rove-like slime campaign against a fellow Democrat has demonstrated that when the chips are down, they simply have none

Helo Mr ALL CAPS: bill cannot be first gentleman. He is nto a gentleman. He could be first philanderer.....

Hey now that is bright- just repeat and repeat and make folks need to read through your multiple posts to see other comments.... But the truth is out there- EVERYTHING about marx, and his followers since him, is garbage. He caused a hundred million deaths last century... but last century's deaths were the innocent. THIS century, it will be the marxists that die. Terrorists, all of you.... marxist, islamic fanatical- you beg to die when you begin telling folks how they MUST live... this here is the USA and free people will not go willingly to your chains. Stay down with uncle hugo.

Hello Hispanic for Obama (for some unexplained reaason).... the quote you should recall the president making is "all terrorists shall feel the full force and fury of the American people" and saddam was a terrorist...he paid people to explode in israel- enough said. That gave us a foot print out of saudi but also placed us on both sides of iran- the biggest exporter of terror the world has known. Recall- since world war two at any given time there have been at least 30 and up to 80 wars going on all over the world.... 95% of them started by islamic fanatical stone aged murder cultists trying to take over teh world. This must be stopped. Your Obama will help the enemy long before he protects YOUR right to defend yourself from the fanatical stone aged murder cultitsts!!! If you are not free to defend yourself, you are free to be murdered. And that is what all the democrats want for all of us.
    Not me- i vote AMERICAN.

none should be surprised by latinos choosing Hilary over Obama, traditionally there has always been political distrust between blacks and latinos. Obama should simply focus on black voters, if Hilary strips him of that group, you can bet there won't be another black man attempting a presidential run in another 20 years.

Bill Cllinton wants to be President again. Make no mistake about that. According to the 22 Amendment to the Constitution, he can if Hillary becomes President. She would then appoint him or pick him to be VP, and lets just say for one instance, she starts to cry when Iran decides to call her a B****. She can then say I have had enough, Bill you take over. Think about it, it can happen. So the reason Bill is not going to pipe down is because he really wants to be President. You know how evil and corrupt these people are. Wake up America!

    • Posted By: GopLady @ 01/20/2008 7:45:44 PM

She would have to name him as her running mate prior to the election and you can bet a Clinton/Clinton ticket won't fly. I think Bill just wants the amenities of the Presidency - like Air Force One, etcetera. He isn't the ideologue that Hillary is. When he was President he had to be dragged screaming and kicking by his people in order to deal with any issue so I don't really think he's interested in being President again.

To me, "Where's the beef?" is as appropriate amidst the torrent of words that are flying everywhere as when the phrase was first coined. Let's vote for people of substance, who walk the talk, not just talk the walk!

I disagree with the revolutionary philosopher, Karl Marx, that religion is the opiate of the people. I think political dynasties is the true opiate of the people. With the Clinton's less-than-subtle references to Obama's teenage drug use, perhaps one should pause to ponder an opiate that afflicts--not just one person--but, our entire nation.

So, okay people, one more time:

    This is our nation:
("...life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.")

    These are our dynasties:
    (Bush--Clinton--Clinton--Bush--Bush)

This is our nation "on" dynasties:
"Read my lips: no new taxes." (Bush)
    "I did not inhale." (Clinton)
"I did not have sex with that woman." (Clinton)
"Saddam Hussein has...weapons of mass destruction." (Bush)
    "Katrina" (Bush).

    Any questions?

Democrats. 9 out of 10 articles you read statements you hear on certain networks are not real. They are aimed at you they think you are sheep they think you follow what they write you are not a self-thinker. The other side makes up all this nagative hype lies so we Democrats will self-destruct. A fact a statement is not an attack. But they think you are fooled when they make it an attack. They and their strategy won in 2000
and 2004. Clinton and Barack are very special people. Don't let the opposition trick you into thinking any more any less any slant any hype. Let's stay together.

    • Posted By: GopLady @ 01/20/2008 7:34:35 PM

Yea, they are special people. Both are unqualified and Hillary wouldn't know the truth about anything if it bit her on the butt. That is special.

    • Posted By: GopLady @ 01/20/2008 7:26:26 PM

You are right. They are special people - both are unqualified and Hillary is incapable of telling the truth about anything. The Dems have so much to be proud of.

I say that we , the people, should stop paying secret service to LLIFETIME protect fromer presidents- ANYWHERE they go- we could maybe offer it at their home. But no foreign travel, no interstate travel. They are overpaid anyway for a single speech they get more than most people in a YEAR- they can buy their own damned sevurity details. Or just a gun, and defend tehmselves like they try to prevent us from doing. HYPOCRITES!! Stop electing democrats people...they are evil.
