Clinton and Obama have alienated eachother too much with negative campainging, and Kerry lost because he had Edwards as his VP, so it seems like that slot is wide open. Maybe Richardson will get his chance. Of corse, McCain's going to beat whoever it is anyway. :-)

Hi. These folks you describe as 'neutral' is a pack of crap and you know it. They are obama supporters. Newsweek is using its power of the media to SPIN for Obama. The DNC has hundreds of members, and this group of 5 WHINERS are all OBAMA supporters.

We get it. You arent ALLOWED to critque Obama . Clinton isnt ALLOWED to campaign for his wife. He isnt allowed to challenge Obamas record. He isnt ALLOWED to speak to the media. He isnt ALLOWED to voice his concerns.

Obama is ALLOWED to LUMP CLINTON in with RICHARD NIXON and go onto say that a REPUBLICANS and Ronald Reagan had the best ideas of the last 15 years. NEVER MIND THE OBVIOUS INSULT to the 42nd president.

Joseph GOBELLS would be SO PROUD of Newsweek wouldnt it. SPIN IT newsweek SPIN IT.

'Challenging' a record is different than lying about it. The Clintons have shown themselves to be of low moral character, just like the current Bush administration -- 'lying to win is okay'. Was a Richardson supporter, and now I'm for anybody but Clinton. Funny, was trying to convince my mother weeks ago that Clinton would be a good president....

Shut up and Sit down Bill we've already heard your LIES, we want to listen to her's. Have we somehow forgotten the Clintons when they were in the White House before and the Lies they told then? I have no problem with a woman President, but Hillary is definitely not the woman. I don't trust either one of the Clintons. They have an agenda and it's all Self Serving.

Shut up and Sit down Bill, we've already heard your LIES, now let us listen to HER'S. Haven't we had enough of the Clintons when they were in the White House and stuff they got away with there.

I will take a president that gets a blow job in the oval office. Over a president that cares nothing for anyone except his rich bodies anyday. Bush has no conscience, thousands of people have died on his orders, so he could secure some oil.

    • Posted By: Leebo @ 01/26/2008 8:43:22 AM

Uh - one problem with your comment - Bush isn't running against Hillary.

The choice is between Obama and the Clintons. Obama is head-and-shoulders above those two who are out for nothing but their own interests.

      Obama '08!

The Obama campaign says it has given away more than $85,000 in Rezko-linked contributions since Rezko was indicted on federal fraud and extortion charges in the fall of 2006.

An ABCNews.com review, however, has identified an additional $100,000 in contributions made to Obama from Rezko's associates that have not been returned, including $19,500 in contributions from Rezko's wife and employees of Rezko's business enterprises. The ABCNews.com review includes individuals who have been linked to Rezko in news reports, court documents and public records. ... ..

How Much Did an Accused Political Fixer Raise for Obama?
ABCNews.com Review Shows an Additional $100,000 in Rezko-Linked Contributions Not Returned by the Campaign of Barack Hussein Obama!!!

WAY TO GO BILL!!!-Even though the last Dem I have voted for is Jimmy Carter(show how foolish we are when we are young) I applaud Mr. Clinton. He can't say the real truth so I will. Politics aside BARAK HUSSEIN OBAMA. Give me a break, who's his running mate? Osama??? If he truly rejected Mohammed and accepted JESUS then why no change of name? LEW ALCINOR-KAREEM ABDUL JABAR. CASSIUS CLAY-MUHAMMED ALI, CAT STEVENS-YOUSEF YABBADABBADO. It is customary to carry a MUSLIM name to authenticate the faith. AMERICA are you really so blind??? Are we reduced to a MORMON or a MOHAMMED as our choices? GO RUDY-GO HILLARY

    • Posted By: Leebo @ 01/26/2008 8:33:06 AM

Wow. HolyRoller, you are messed up! Nice phobic attitudes you put on display. It's peole ike you who help ruin our good standing (what little of it is left) with the rest of the world.

As a white, middle-aged mom from Illinois, I hope most of America is smart enough to see the wonderful opportunity we have in Barack "Hussein" Obama and stop with the immature and fear-riddled nonsense.

It seemed that AMericans are choosing a "beauty man" ranther a president. It is so strange that AMericans are so "unrealistical" and "childish" in choosing a president. This is not a game for your "own and ego enjoyment" for such as The first black president in the US history or whatsoever. Ground ourselves on the earth Americans, don't be foolish to think Mr Obama is so fresh, new, lovable, this is a president who will lead not only the America, but also the world, it is a huge challenge to a president of America.

Mr Obama's speech and debates so far seemed he is not a so smart guy as people thought! Hes articulation is very similar with George W. Bush who even could not speak and use English correctly! Mr Obama's speaking pattern is nearly the same as G.W. Bush, both of them are not smart enough to shoulder a so challenging job in the world really! Nearly 8 years ago, American used their "stubborn" attitude to choose G.W. Bush, a very stupid Guy, America suffered greatly, do we get enough from a stupid guy for us? Yes, we are fed up with these stupid and not smart enough guy to lead us. Forget Obama, he can't deal the huge task ahead of us. Or America will suffer again!!!

CHoose the smartest, the most expericed and capable one to be the president of America, Hillary! She is the great person to be the next USA president, she will bring us with real results and prosperity ! Don't be jealous of her please, she will only earn $400,000/year, she didn't get something for herself, she wants to do great contribution to America.

We don't want to have another G.W Bush (Obama and Bush are really not smart enough, they are alike a lot, believe me, Obama couldn't articulate things out clearly and correctly). Choose Hillary! She will lead America to a huge victory in every field around and lead America to another great glory! God bless and America!

I was a Democrat when younger, and then became an Independent in 1992 (I voted for Perot). However, after the buffoonery and fascist attach on personal liberties by W and his cronies, I vowed I would NEVER again vote for a Republican.

After much thought, I have decided to support Barack Obama for President. I read his book Audacity of Hope, agreed with him that the "new majority" is more concerned about becoming the "United States of America" instead of the disastrous "Red State/Blue State" dichotomy. I believe that the great majority of Americans want to be inspired to think and do beyond their own self-interest for the greater good. They are collectively ashamed that New Orleans still looks as it does; they are fed up with that the rest of the major countries in the world take better care of the health of their citizens than the U.S. They hunger for a President to inspire us and lead a united nationwide effort to wean ourselves off foreign oil, just as John Kennedy challenged us to go to the moon within a decade.

They are also sick and tired of the oligarchies that seek to control this country for 20 years: Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton.

I know understand what it is about the Clintons that Republicans hate so much; it's all about power; it's all about power in their hands.

Shame on Bill Clinton; he should act like a former President. You can see his "thirst" for power boil over in the attempt to slay the insurgent Obama; how dare he challenge the Clinton's power!!! Make no mistake about it; Bill is running for a third term.

Hillary seeks to be the first woman president; and admirable calling; a potential inspiration to the women and girls of this country, my 10-year-old daughter included. Yet, what has she done? She is basically saying "If you try to challenge me I will send my husband after you to BEAT YOU UP!!!" Great. The first woman president needs her HUBBY to fight her fights for her. Nice example.

The Republicans shouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell this November; no consensus candidate; the rank and file in complete disarray; no central figure behind which to rally. Then some of my moronic Democrats want to give them Hillary Clinton to run against. Great. Unite the Republican Party for them. Four or eight years of rancor, no health insurance for even more Americans, the world gets warmer, and we are further enslaved by foreign oil.

However, worst of all, I will have left my 15-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter with a world and country worse off than the country and world my parents left to me. Nice job, us "children of the sixties."

Here's the deal. I am so against oligarchies, and I am so disappointed and disgusted by the power hungry Clintons, that if "they" (noticed I said they) are the nominees of the Democratic Party I will not vote for them.

I will either (i) stay home; or (ii) vote for John McCain (if he is the Republican nominee) in protest.

    Suck on that one, Bubba.

    • Posted By: HolyRoller @ 01/26/2008 8:01:08 AM

Excellent post. I agree that John McCain would be a fine President. However, the media is obsessed with an OBAMA-ROMNEY contest. I for one hope that the herd mentality of most American's falls short of their goals.

America, let's point to some facts inorder that we can make a wise decision. I'm looking at this from an Independent's point of view.

    1. Whether you like Bush or not, the fact remains that he appointed more minorities to high positions in his cabinet than any other president. This INCLUDES Bill Clinton, who by the way, did not have anyone who is black in any high ranking position in his cabinet. This is especially befuddling considering that Bill Clinton is looked upon by the African community as the "Black" president. How insulting was this statement!!! What exactly did Bill Clinton do for the "black" community?

    2. For all the mess that this "war" has caused this country, it is unfortunate, for all those who have lost their lives while fighting over in Iraq and Afganistan. As far as what it will take to "fix" it, well, It will require some great deal of time. But the fact remains that during the Clinton adminstration, Osama bin laden was available for the taking. As it has been reported in the news, Saudia Arabia was looking for some country to take him. He was offered to the U.S. and Clinton, the "wise" and trusted President, said no. So, his "no" allowed Osama the opportunity to do what he did on 9-11. Again, the wonderful president Clinton, because he loves us so, had the chance to change things for the better but refused. And then we felt the "pain" of his error!

    3. Let's us stroll down memory lane and revisit the Monica Lewinsky debacle, shall we. How many women had to come forward to finally nail this "PIMP" to the wall and have him admit to his indiscrections. And even then, for this loser to insult the american public like he did and try to weasle his way out of this by telling us what the meaning of "is" is. Which of course brings into the picture, the wonderful Hillary "Rodem" Clinton. Notice how conveniently she dropped the "Rodem" out of her name? Funny how that works! But getting back to the comment, here comes Hillary and starts waving the "it's the right wing conspiracy" flag. She claims that the "republicans are out to destroy my husband!" But what happened when all the allegations were proven to be true? Did we get an apology from the Her or anyone from the left, not a chance!

As I said before, I am a registered Independent. I am tired of seeing the nonsense that is being dished out from both the democrats and republicans. Both parties are losing the focus of what's important for this country--that is, the fate of the american people! I just want someone who will make significant changes in washington that will yield the best results for the american public. As one who belongs to middle income america, I have a vested interest in how this election season will pan out. We desparately need help! But I have to say that, Hillary Clinton is not the answer.

AMERICA, WAKE UP!!!! Do you really think that Hillary Clinton is the right person to be our next president? Just look at what is happening in the primaries. Look at what she is trying to do to her fellow Democratic candidate. She and her low life husband are trying to use the race card in order to bring Obama down. Then Hillary, in the recent debate, insulted Obama with the "slum landlord" comment. Only to have a picture surface of her and Bill surrounding the socalled "slum landlord" himself. What trash these two are. These two will go to whatever ends necessary inorder to achieve there goal. Even if it means going against their own party. Look at how many of their own party are coming forward and telling Bill to "pipe it down!" The attacks on Obama are getting vicious. And again, this is within their own party! Why is it that so many people are afraid of these two? Consider the damage these two have done so far--then think of how much more damage these two can inflict if the worst senario comes true. What happened to the "Right Wing" conspiracy that she freely spewed to the american public when the allegations about her husband's infidelities were brought forth. Only for these allegations to be proven to be TRUE!!! Conspiracy my foot! The lies and smearing that these two are engaged in is nothing short of criminal! This would be a tragedy beyond repair in all respects. DO NOT ELECT HILLARY!!!!

  • Posted By: delakile @ 01/26/2008 3:23:08 AM

Hillary Clinton is a fraud. She has no interest in anyone but herself. How convienent were those fake tears just when she thought her hopes of winning the primaries were in question. All it took was for her to lose Iowa, and the tears started to fall. What's worse were the idiots who fell for this farce! Now she is throwing in the race card in order to discredit Obama. America, wake up and smell the stench that are the Clintons!!!

  • Posted By: delakile @ 01/26/2008 3:19:06 AM

The Clintons are a joke! I dare anyone to tell the world what has Hillary done for this country, let alone the state of NEW YORK! She claims to have this great experience on how to run the country. From where? Are we to be fooled into thinking that she has this experience just because she is Bill Clinton's wife? Please, it is so disgusting how these two lowlifes are fooling the american public. At least half of america is on to her already. She is a disaster for this nation. WAKE UP AMERICA!!! before it's too late.

I'm admiring Bill Clinton more now ,becose he is just helping his wife, even when she is doing a great job by herself, but if he is being the way he is that's because of the media, they been focusing in OSAMA, I mean, obama all the time.Every time I turn the tv. on to see the news, all I see, most of the time is people talking about this OSAMA, OASMA well, I mean obama, so that's good knowing he is behinde his wife, since the media won't. I would do the same thing ,for that I respect him more ,is sad that peopel can look at it the other way , GOOD JOB BILL!!!! HILLARY CLINTON 2008!!!!

  • Posted By: icandoit @ 01/26/2008 12:03:46 AM

I always liked Bill Clinton, even just few months ago I was admiring his still powerful presence in American politics. But to me he had lost a lot of respect for his recent behaviors and criticism towards Obama. By doing so he lost a fan (me) and I think others will think the same. And since he is making me upset I started to question his legacy, what did he do during the Rwanda Genocide? Where was he when the radical Islam was increasing? His relationship to Monica? No doubt that he did good things but if you dig deep you will find a lot of stinks too. It is a surprise that I am trashing Bill, but I guess that???s what is expected when some one lost respect for a charismatic president.

All you Obama lovers and Clinton haters need to go back into the closet!

The 90s were the best times ever! Gas was cheap, I had a lot of money in my pocket, and Bill was in the white house!

    GO CLINTON!!
