Comment: As a lifelong conservative I am giddy watching these idiots foul about. Clinton is a joke but I DO NOT want Hillary to lose the nomination. Romney '08
With each passing day, Bill Clinton becomes increasingly incredible, irrelevant, and incoherent

Thank you for bringing this up. I am a woman, a Democrat and a feminist. I thought that Bill was a great president but wrote to Senator Clinton several weeks ago asking her to "bench" her husband. I would love to vote for a woman for president and was predisposed to vote for her, but have determined I cannot. Bill's active, aggressive tone leaves the perception that she is running as his proxy. I believe if she wins, it will not be her White House. He could not resist the impulse to "rescue" her, as he is doing now and she couldn't or wouldn't stop him,. That would set women back rather than move us forward. She is certainly competent would make an excellent president, if she could make the former president remain former.
"But the stakes couldn't be higher. It's worth it to tarnish himself a bit now to win the presidency."
Methinks Bill forgets who is really running for President. He wants a THIRD TERM!

Imagine Bill Clinton having fallen so low that he is being scolded over his behavior by the likes of Ted Kennedy. Next thing you know Teddy will be giving Bill driving lessons before his next big date with Monica.
The Clintons remind of being Frick and Frack -- an old Burlesque comedy team. In those days when the comedians went too long or laid a bomb, a hook would come out and pull them off stage. Where's the hook to get them off the world stage? Enough is enough of the Clintons and the Bushes. Doing the same old same old and expecting different results is crazy. But then likes attract likes!
Imagine Clinton having fallen to thre
Come on, Lefties, please give us a Hillary nomination.
STFU BJ
Bill and Hillary remind me of Frick and Frack. In the old burlesque days when the comedians would go too long or lay a bomb, a hook would come out and pull them off stage.. Geezzzee where is the hook?. Please1 Get off the world stage. No more Clintons or Bushes. They are old, stale, same old. It's time we wake up and go for new ideas and real change in the White House.
This portrayal of HRC as a victim of the media is about as empowering to her campaign as the crocodile tears she forced in New Hampshire. Not to mention the perpetual need to have Bill come to her defense like a father defending his timid child on the playground ('Those mean BOYS need to back off of my baby!') If Hillary is such a viable and deserving candidate, how will she respond when the hard core politicking begins in the fall? She has no control of her supporters and campaign staff, who have taken every chance to take cheap shots at Obama, and she has placed her own foot in her mouth several times, most notably with a poorly worded analogy about Dr. King's role in the civil rights act. If she thinks it's tough now, how will she respond when the republicans emphasize the fact that she is a figure head for Bill's empire and not worthy on her OWN merits? There's a fresh idea: a candidate who prospers on his/her OWN record, instead of revving up the old, powerful "Clinton machine" and taking it out for a final ride.
"Leading Democrats?" The real "leading Democrats" are either running for President, or have actually been President. It seems that "Following Democrats" are actually the ones in position to offer the kinds of advice that has resulted in their having achieved their present status as well known followers of the actual leaders. So let the leaders lead! And that sure as heck includes Bill Clinton. Apparently Obama's a little too used to running unopposed.

The media, Obama supporters, and most bloggers have no restraint attacking HRC or framing most of what she does negatively, while allowing Obama a free ride. The only person with sufficient stature to balance this equation is Bill. How do you run a campaign against a black candidatewhen everytime you disparage him, he or his supporters scream racism, yet the massive negative HRC coverage is seldom challenged.
Obama is always shown or mentioned to the lead in of an article or news report, then if HRC is mentioned it is ivariably framed negatively. We have a whole new ball game and the media is incompetent in handling it.
We have developed such a political correctness about blacks, but none to women. Liberals are so guilt stricken over our past treatment of blacks, they are ga-ga over Obama. Young idealists want a dreamer, and to hell with doer. It is a good thing we have a long time until the election. Perhaps the voters will sort it all out dispite the horrible coverage.
Have you considered that the media's treatment of Hillary is based on: 1) The fact that she was a huge favorite expected to walk to the nomination. The front runner is always the focal point of criticism. Ask Mitt Romney about that. But Mitt didn't have the luxury of playing the gender card. 2) The Clintons have treated the press like $hi+ for years, and they are only reaping what they have sown.
Here's another possibility, maybe the media has responded to Obama because of his drive to bring people together as opposed to HRC's polarizing effect. Maybe they regard him as self-made leader and HRC as a political surrogate. Here's my final point: ask yourself more penetrating questions instead of taking the lazy way out and playing the gender card.
Bettie, the only people who blindly defend the Clinton's dysfuntional marriage are misguided "fans" who can't accept the fact that their beloved couple have a marriage of convenience. The republicans seized the opportunity to push the family values issue down our throats and won 2 elections because of it, 2 George W. elections! I place much of the blame for this on the soap opera that was Bill Clinton's second term.
I don't care but their personal life, I don' t defend it but like the vast majority of Americans, I really just dont care. I think you Clinton haters are just out of touch with most Americans on the issue of the Clinton marriage... the Clintons already know this.
You are wrong. If Clinton should be the nominee, the Republicans will make us relive Lewinsky, et al., over and over. And it will work on independents and and those dem's who've had their Clintonian rose-colored glasses smashed to smithereens.
Raciscm has been institutionalized on both sides of the political spectrum since this country was founded. The Latino vote is the x factor in this election and is going to be Jebb BUsh's bread and butter in four years. Racial tensions are high between latino's and blacks, however they share the same economic concerns. Both Hispanics and Blacks prospered in the ninety's.Think where African AMericans were before Clinton. Vernon Jordon is a prime example of why African Americans like Bill Clinton. African Americans fought for civil rights but are the least to benefit from it, instead white women have benefited the most from LINDeN JOHNSON"S CIVIL RIGHTS LEGISLATION/ Martin Luther was the Architect that penetrated Washington and drafted modern civil rights legislation long before it was enacted.. It was Martin Luther's relationship with Bobby Kennedy and JFK that allowed Civil Rights to become a reality. THe first civil rights legislation was actually written in the nineteen thirty's but that is a whole other story.
