    I can't believe the American media (including Newsweek) is still referring to this fake incident as an actual "confrontation"!
    People, there was no confrontation. the whole incident was made up by neo-con members of the american terrorist navy. That has already been proven, and even the PENTAGON has distanced itself from the fraudulent video that american media was flashing over and over while screaming "PROVOCATION... IRAN...WORLD WAR III". The week after this video was aired, BushCo was on its planned tour of Arab dictatorships, selling $$billions in smart bomb kits, WMD's and other good stuff to people with Al Quaida affliations....
    These people are shameless...they have lied us into one war after another and they continue to lie through their teeth, oblivious to the millions they have murdered in the last 40 years to fatten their wallets and commit racial genocide.
    The IRGC continuously monitors and contacts american terrorist ships for obvious reasons...it is a routine event that occurrs 24 hours a day, and americans regularly cross into Iranian waters illegally to provoke the iranians and to intimidate civiliar shipping and air traffic (as we saw in the 1988 incidients where 290 iranians were murdered while the US was helping the arabs commit genocide against iran)

    The US should use more common sense instead of showing its intimidating power. The whole region will suffer if there is arms conflict between the US and Iran. Even the semi-sanction against Iran is affecting the region but not Iran. Iran is war hardened and has already experienced a lot of sufferings. War will not subdue Iran. The US should use its money for development and not for destruction. The US wil be more respected if just by using talks and diplomacy it is able to resolve issues. That shows real influence and power! Instead the US uses its loud mouth and bullying tactics to irritate other people. Alas, the US administration consists of small minded people.

    from what i understand incoming traffic has to pass through iranian territorial waters and if that is the case doesn't iran have the right to govern those waters as their sovereign domain and if that is the case could russia cruise around in the gulf of mexico with a fleet of warships and the u.s. would act like they were completely oblivious of it ...(all rhetorical of course )

      ONLY IF IT WERE LEFT UP TO THE DICKTATOR OF THE USA! IRANIAN WATERS ARE IRANIAN AND DO NOT HAMPER ANY COUNTRY IN THE GULF UNLESS ITS INVADED AS THE BRITTONS DID A FEW YEAR BACK! IT THERE RIGHT, AS IT IS OURS AND MEXICOS WHEN DEALING WITH OUR GULF! ANYONE 20 MILES OUT CAN DO AS THEY PLEASE IN OUR GULF! AS IT IS THERE, AND IF RUSSIA CAME WITHIN 20 MILES OF THE USA!!         Pinkpanther the british were not in iranian waters. In fact the two different coordinates that the iranians gave for where the british were, were in fact iraqi waters.

    Do not be delusional, it is business as usual (weapons deal: oil for dollars for weapons) . This war is not SCHEDULED to take place until the White House has a new face (but before taking office).This war is so phony, this war is so fake, it is easy to read the moves that will take place. P. Bush and wicked witch of the west: Condi (you know, the Condi with a supertanker named for her running oil back an forth...The one they erased her named off of before she was promoted...just google it) support a terror state being created in Gaza so why not keep the funding coming from Iran? Bottom line: Osama is a mercenary marketing director for various government owned weapons manufacturers parading as a religious person; no definition of religious includes flying planes into buildings. War ends We win when we pass a law that makes the minimum price of gasoline at the pumps: $1.75/gallon; billion dollar/million barrel per day will not be built without protection from OPEC monopoly pricing rusting out our new stills. This war is only a phony weapons deal.
