SKINNY *** IN THE KITCH is a great book with wonderful recipes, but also read SKINNY *** for more insight into why it is both healthier and more ethical to live a vegan lifestyle. It will change the way you think of food forever!

    Hey Jerry,
True coffee connoisseurs don't drink milk in their coffee. Are you Kidding ! !
    Be a coffee-drinking individual - espresso yourself!
    Without the latte.

Good for you, good for the animals, good for the planet.
Also, if you are from California, see humanecalifornia.org where you can help get an initiative on the ballot in November that will create more humane conditions for farm animals. Right now, millions of chickens, pigs, and veal calves are in cages so small they can't even turn around. Voters can change this awful situation.

The last sentence of Mr. Adler's entertaining discussion would seem to be inspired by the hoary joke about a diner who orders coffee without cream from the waiter, who, after a few minutes, returns to the table to announce that the restaurant is out of cream. "But would you like it without milk instead?" he asks.
