If John McCain wins the Republican nomination for president, it will be fantastic for Barack Obama. All John McCain needs to do is continue to spew out his plan to keep this country at war for the next "100 years", as he has declared, and people will flock to anyone with an alternative view! That position is not what the majority in this country wants. It isn't even what most republicans want. Winning a war, in this case, does not mean 'until the last man is standing...' Winning means knowing when to say, 'enough is enough! Let's get these guys home'.

How could the Clintons be so corrupt in politics, and powerful enough to close public records in the Clinton Law Library even though the records are supposed to be open through the Freedom of Info Act, this article can be read in Newsweek dated October 29, 2007.........................Mike Comisac

He has said it more than once. The United States military could stay in Iraq for "maybe a hundred years" and that "would be fine with me," John McCain told two hundred or so people at a town hall meeting in Derry, New Hampshire, on Thursday evening.

Listen to Bush's upcoming state of the union address. Look and listen carefully. Is he avoiding detail, is he camaflouging his real agenda. Can he really make you believe that he will leave no child behind again, How many times can one nation be foolded. Think about all the bankrupt people sitting at home, those in debt, those without healthcare, and unable to afford education watching his speech. Their probably wondering how they could have been suckered into voting for this guy. They did not listen and we all know many of them voted for Bush in two thoudand four. OBAMA/.Hillary for president.

Cheney's stock options which were worth $241,498 a year ago, are now valued at more than $8 million-- for an increase of 3,281% . Cheney has pledged to give the proceeds to charity. Cheney continues to receive a deferred salary from the Halliburton. He was paid $205,298 in 2001; $162,392 in 2002; $178,437 in 2003; and $194,852 in 2004.

Halliburton, has already raked in more than $10 billion for work in Iraq, and was handed some of the first Katrina contracts. The company has been criticized by auditors for its handling of no-bid contacts in Iraq, and there have been numerous allegations of over charging for services. Auditors found the firm marked up meal prices for troops and inflated gas prices in a deal with a Kuwaiti supplier. The company also built the American prison at Guantanamo Bay. John you are a perfect example of a person who just cannot accept the facts. you have been defeated so your only way to strike back is to lie. This will get you no where. You should not be lazy, you should research and battle back with a strong argument. There is not doubt you are a Republican. Remember what the did to McCain in two thousand, he was up in South Carolina and on the verge of defeating Bush, What Happened, people like you and Karl Rove started calling people in SOuth Carolina and starting lying to the voters about McCain character. That is fact. It is fact that you JOHNFROST is your typical republican supporter. Even though your wrong you cannot accept it so you lie. You have probablly been lying your whole life just like this Administration. Take a page from Obama and congratulate you opponent when he defeats you. Do not lie and deny that you have been proven wrong.

He said it during the debate. "We will fight for a hundred years we will never give up" This is a fact. And that is the problem with McCain, good man that believes in the wrong policies, We cannot afford Iraq, we are sick of Iraq we want to hear about American what is good for American not Iraq.

I am NOT pro-McCain, but I'd like to know where he says that. His web site says that we should prepare Iraqis to take over their own security, something I think everyone would agree with. I don't think anyone except Kucinich, bless his heart, or Richardson thinks it's a wise idea to leave Iraq in a shambles. That would definitely not be in anyone's best interest. I hate this war with every fiber of my being but if we pull out precipitously, more innocent people will die. For better or worse we've got to fix what we broke and that may mean staying for awhile. Mark my words, if a Dem is elected he/she will follow the same (sensible) policy. You've forgotten what a hawk Hillary has been during the past 7 years.

It's sad to see the childish back and forth between Hillary and Obama. What is worse is that a former President of the United States has assumed the role of an attack dog for his wife's campaign. I now believe Clintons will do anything to stop Obama. Democrats will loose the next election because Hillary can not win the general election and she (and Bill) won't let Obama win the primary.

THE REpublicans feel that it is their money since and should be given to the rich. THIS is what seperates REpublicans and Democrats. However, this line has been dimmed because The special interest has elevated to such power that they control both parties. War profiteers in Western NEW YORK made a lot of money. THE only people that are losing money in this War are the AMERICAN people the. THe one's who are getting richer and richer everyday are Bush/Cheney and their backers. WHile Cheney more than Quadrupled his assets and money the average American has been struggling to balance their budgets. Outsourcing, Iraq War, Neglect. DO YOU THINK CHENEY CARES aBOUT HIS CHECK BOOK OR YOURS. VICE presidents should be helping Americans. IT makes me sick to think the army said it could not afford body armour for our troops. This administration has kept the American people stupid. Do you think this administration would have gone to war it they themselves would loose billions of dollars, I don't think so. What Cheney and Halliburton and Blackwater have done is chicken feed compared to what the Oil companies are making. We have been fooled by our own people and their is no way any Republican is going to win this election. THE Middle class has had it with all this Bin LADEN terrorist crap. WE are now scared of our own government than we are of the terrorist because the decision this government is making on our behalf is not in our best interest and it is killing us. We want our money back and will begin suing as soon as this administration is out of power.

The republicans want Hillary to win. They know they have no chance against OBAMA. First they will start with a commericial showing all the so called CLINTON SCANDALS and at the end say, do we want to go back to this. Then they are going to blame her husband's administration for allowing the terrorist attacks and neglecting the Military. McCain is going to say that he is honest and stronger on foreign policy, this is why the Republicans are going to choose him as the nominee. He has crossover appeal. Huckabee's big mistake was letting everyone know he wanted to Health Care reform Health Care, he should have waited. The insurance companies let the Republican party know Huckabee is not in their best interest, Romney is. Republicans would have chose Romney but they know he would get annihalated in a genereal election. His Flip flopping and his inexperience in foreign policy would not vow well in a National Election. All this change talk from Romney is making Republicans nervous. They like the way things are. McCain is going to continue Bush's policy in Iraq. He is also going to continue Bush's economic plan. We need to tax the War profiteers especially securtiy firms like Blackwater and Halliburton. Someone should sue black water and other private firms for stealing tax payer money. You should protect Americans for free. The army was to lazy to provide protection for contractors why? Because this is the administrations way of giving the people'e tax money to the rich. They have intelligently robbed the AMericans people. WHILE we continue to spend billions War profiteers Private Contractors and oil comPanies all of whom support the Republicans, are getting rich and richer. Iraq is the new land for Americans to get rich in, they have no laws. It is like the Wild West during the Gold RUSH.

I am an Edwards supporter. It's looking doubtful that he will be the nominee but unless she changes her tactics, I will absolutely not vote for Clinton should she come out on top. I would rather vote for McCain, who appears to have a sense of honor and decency. I've been a lifelong Dem but I am tired of her type of politicking. We need to move beyond divide-and-conquer politics. Criticizing your opponent's record is one thing, but her campaign has sought to paint Obama as the 'African-American Candidate' in some not-too-subtle ways. Additionally, I am still waiting for the name of the Nevada Culinary Union boss who was threatening his members if they voted for Clinton, as Bill said. I think that is a lie and the sad thing is, it wouldn't be his first. Our country cannot heal its divisions with another Clinton presidency.

    • Posted By: sjbrock80 @ 01/22/2008 6:36:10 PM

I agree with you completely. I'm not a Democrat by any means, but I could live with Edwards or Obama. Hillary, now she is just slimy and untrustworthy. It would be a very sad day if she were elected.

      • Posted By: lancemonotone @ 01/22/2008 8:30:25 PM

I'm beginning to agree with you, although to be fair I think the Right has demonized her, and I've still not heard any compelling reason for it. She is a self-confident and accomplished woman, which is not my reason for disliking her. Sadly, while I believe she fights for worthwhile goals that would help a lot of people, she has been attacked so often and so harshly that she has begun to assimilate her tormentors' methods. This kind of politics has got to end, or our country will continue its downward slide into factionalism and irrelevance, and possibly even violence. I just don't see the reason for it. We're all Americans and our differences are not so profound that we cannot talk about them civilly. Edwards can do that. Obama can do that. McCain can do that. Even Romney can do that. If Clinton is the nominee, I will vote for McCain or Romney. If neither of those two Republicans make it, I will boycott this election. Or pray for Bloomberg.

Husband and wife are best together in the bedroom, not in the political ring. Hillary says to Barack to use his wife --- Huh? -- No former president was ever this nasty. I was a big fan of Bill Clinton. Not any more.

Do you remember Hillary's Health Care reform debacle? WTH did Hillary do, what kind of experience?

Voting for the Invasion of Iraq?
