The University of Auckland is New Zealand’s leading university (ranked 82 in the world’s top 100 universities in the QS World University Rankings 2018).

The University has 40,000 students and offers programmes across a wide range of disciplines. Located in the heart of New Zealand’s commercial capital, Auckland is a safe, multicultural and vibrant city of 1.5 million residents. The University of Auckland Business School is one of Asia-Pacific’s foremost research-led business schools and is in the one per cent of Business Schools worldwide to hold Triple Crown accreditation from the leading international bodies: AACSB International, EFMD-EQUIS and AMBA. Our Department of Accounting and Finance is ranked 37 in the QS World University Rankings by Subject (2017).

The Business School is located in the state-of-the-art Owen G Glenn Building. It contains lecture theatres, case rooms, computer labs, study rooms, a café and a bank.

The Business School delivers programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. With eight disciplinary departments the programmes cover a range fields including: Accounting, Commercial Law, Economics, Finance, Management, Information Systems, Operations and Supply Chain Management, International Business. Marketing, Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Property.

The Business School is also home to the Graduate School of Management which delivers 15 and 18-month coursework masters degrees in addition to an MBA programme and a Master of Commercialisation and Entrepreneurship.

It is committed to developing business savvy, entrepreneurial graduates to ensure New Zealand’s longer term economic prosperity.
