When Does ‘The Bachelorette’ 2018 Start? Time, Channel and More About Becca Kufrin’s Premiere

After getting dumped by Arie Luyendyk on The Bachelor, Becca Kufrin will start her own journey to find a love of her own.

The Bachelorette normally airs on Memorial Day weekend, and Season 14 will be no different. Watch Kufrin sift through 30 men Monday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. As Bustle noted, that means fans will likely see a proposal around the Fourth of July. Bachelor in Paradise is next to premiere, probably airing in July or August.

Even more exciting for Bachelorette fans, host Chris Harrison confirmed that Kufrin was engaged. Harrison took to his official Instagram page to share the news, along with a cheeky “hint.” He wrote: “I can tell you today that Becca is indeed happily engaged! I can’t tell you who it is but here’s a hint… It’s a human man.”

Kufrin is best known for appearing on Season 22 of The Bachelor. Luyendyk proposed to her at the end of the series, but then changed his mind a few months later and said he wanted to marry Lauren Burnham. After he got down on one knee at the live After the Final Rose special in March, it was revealed Kufrin would be the next Bachelorette for Season 14.

"The reality of it is that … being with you, although it’s been everything that I wanted, I still think about [Lauren],” he said at the time. "I don’t think it’s fair to be half in with you. I don’t think it’s fair for us to continue and for my heart to be with someone else. I want to take the risk and see if there’s a possibility with her.”

Despite the public embarrassment, she doesn’t hold a grudge against Luyendyk. “I watched all of last season back. I think that being in a relationship, there is a lot that you miss. When [Arie] is going on dates with other women, it helps to see his journey with all the other girls,” she told Us Weekly Thursday. “Being on this side now, I can empathize a bit more. I can see what it is to try to sift through each person and each relationship to find the best one. At the end of the day, he had to follow his heart. I wanted to do the same thing for me.”
