4/20 Day: Celebrate The Marijuana Holiday With These Celebrity Pot Brands

If you’ve always wanted to live the high life like Snoop Dogg, then you’ll finally get your chance on America’s greenest holiday, 4/20, on Friday. The Doggfather will likely be blazing mother Maryjane along with dozens of other marijuana enthusiasts on the annual holiday—but in true Snoop fashion, he’ll likely be smoking his own goods.

If you live in a state where marijuana is legal—30 of them allow cannabis consumption in some capacity now—then you can smoke Snoop’s goods too. The rapper has been the proud owner of Leafs by Snoop since 2015 and sells a wide variety of marijuana flower, edibles, shatter and waxes for any kind of stoner to enjoy.

But Snoop isn’t the only celeb cashing in on the new marijuana industry. Plenty of stars are lending their name and fame to pot products. Check out a list of some celebrity marijuana brands below.

Tommy Chong: For years the comedian has used his platform to advocate for marijuana reform. So naturally, when states started to legalize medical and recreational weed, the cancer survivor was one of the first to launch his own line of products—pre-rolled joints, loose flower, cannabis oil and THC strips—aptly named Chong’s Choice.

Willie Nelson: The legendary country singer was notorious for sharing his stash of pot with friends and followers while performing around the country back in the '70s and '80s. And at 84 years old, Nelson continues to share his stash, except now he does it legally with his own cannabis company, Wille’s Reserve. The superstar singer and marijuana activist sells a wide range of products—from loose flower and pre-rolled joints to hard candy edibles, chocolates and pot accessories to keep users lighting up in style.

The Marley Family: It’s nearly impossible to hear the name Bob Marley without instantly thinking about marijuana. The late reggae king would often sing of his love for the plant. Thanks to his family, fans of Marley can share in his adoration by indulging in Marley Natural, a line of smokeable and edible marijuana products, hemp seed-infused body products and accessories.

Whoopi Goldberg: With a catalog catered towards the ladies, Goldberg’s Whoopi & Maya offers a range of body salves, scrubs, tinctures and balms all infused with THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, marijuana’s active ingredient that produces its famous high effect.

Ghostface Killah: In 2016, one member of the Wu-Tang Clan made headlines when he starred in a hilarious infomercial promoting Wu-Goo, Killah’s very own line of marijuana oils in collaboration with Dr. Zodiak's Dynamite Stix. He even made a music video to promote his branded vanilla mango and pineapple coconut hash oil.

Wiz Khalifa: Like his idol and longtime mentor Snoop, Khalifa was quick to put his stamp on the marijuana industry once more states started to legalize. His Khalifa Kush brand includes the rapper’s own-grown cannabis strains, pre-rolled joints, rolling papers and pot accessories.

The Game: The L.A. rapper not only has his own brand of marijuana, named Trees by Game, but he has a dispensary, too. It's fully loaded with his branded strains of loose flower, concentrates and accessories.
