From classic to cutting edge, the cocktail bars of London are a bibulous burst of booziness that would be a missed opportunity to skip. There are pubs on every corner but the city is sprinkled with killer cocktail bars that will turn you into a fan of the British capital's cocktail bar landscape. Here are seven of our favorites.

Bar Termini

Fancy a Negroni or an Aperol spritz? Of course you do. One of the best places in which to sip an Italian-accented cocktail is this Soho bar. The house Negroni, which happens to be the best-priced drink on the menu, is excellent here. Even the bloody Mary, not at all an Italian creation, is superior at Termini, thanks in part to the horseradish vodka they use. Fill up on some burrata, which comes with pane carasau, an addictive Sardinian flatbread.

7 Old Compton St.

Bar Three

From the cocktail-concocting folks who brought you Three Sheets, this seductive Spitalfields spot divides their boozy offerings into categories "light," "medium" and "full." So sip a refreshing rhubarb spritz from the lighter side of things or go full-on with "Whisky + Milk," a combination of milk-washed Earl Grey and Woodford Reserve. The bar is located beneath the restaurant Blixen.

65a Brushfield St.

Blind Pig

During Prohibition, the term "blind pig" was slang for an illicit establishment, aka a speakeasy, for boozy debauchery. This upstairs bar—it's located above Social Eating House—is not secret but it does mix up a fine collection of cocktails. The vintage look of the place makes an ideal venue in which to sip libations. The signature fruit-forward cocktails are both complex and unifying in flavor at the same time.

58 Poland St.

Happiness Forgets

You won't forget this bar or the mirth which this speaskeasy-ish Shoreditch bar inspires in the form of quality crafted cocktails. The diminutive basement bar is minimally bedecked, putting the emphasis on what is in your glass. Stick to classic cocktails and you can't go wrong.

8-9 Hoxton Square

The bar formerly known as Dandelyan is helmed by master (and heavily awarded) bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana. He uses just seven ingredients in which to base his cocktails. And they are stunningly good. Elegant, glamorous, and downright great, Lyaness is a must-visit for any cocktail lover.

20 Upper Ground

Satan's Whiskers

This diminutive and demonically good dive-ish bar serves up an ever-changing cast of great cocktails. The exposed brick walls and random taxidermy set the vibe. So the does the hip-hop usually seeping from the speakers at this fun Bethnal Green establishment.

343 Cambridge Heath Rd.

Savoy American Bar

For 130 years, the Savoy has been shaking up killer classic concoctions in a handsome, sophisticated Art Deco-bedecked space. Plant yourself at the bar and sip a slightly dirty martini. Or even better, a Hanky-Panky or Corpse Reviver #2, both of which were invented at this storied cocktail bar.
