'90 Day Fiancé': After Leida Drama, Eric Knows Why Instagram Users 'Hate On Us So Much'

90 Day Fiancé star Eric Rosenbrook isn't surprised by the hate that he and fiancé Leida Margaretha received after Sunday's episode of the TLC reality show, but what he didn't appreciate was what some people apparently said about Margaretha's 5-year-old son, Alessandro.

He took to his Instagram Story promptly after the show, which largely featured an explosive fight he had with Margaretha, aired. "I get why many of you hate on us so much that [sic] feel the need to contact us and spew your hate, but for the love of God, leave her son alone! He doesn't deserve any of this," Rosenbrook wrote.

Alessandro was barely featured on Sunday's episode. He was only shown a few times. He was in the apartment when Margaretha had a loud argument with Rosenbrook's daughter, Tasha. Margaretha and Tasha don't get along, and Margaretha decided to officially kick her out.

Though Rosenbrook defended Alessandro, he didn't say anything about Tasha.

Rosenbrook's message was promptly retweeted by prominent 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates. In the comments under his tweet, fans were perplexed by Rosenbrook's statement. "Honestly, who is really attacking her son. Please get that proof John. I dont buy anything Eric spews," @ladymaree85 wrote. "I doubt people are talking about her son. The one she curses and fights like an animal in front of," @xtinaw72 added.

What people might be talking about is how Margaretha and Rosenbrook almost ended their relationship over money. Margaretha was upset that her fiancé pays $1,000 per month in child support. Instead, she rather he gives up his parental rights so he could spend the extra money on her. Almost exhaustingly, 90 Day Fiance fans are continually reminded that Margaretha grew up in an affluent family in Indonesia. Her family is rich, respected and house a home with multiple rooms and maids to look after it.

In one part of the argument, Margaretha seemingly lets it slip that she wants to stay in the U.S. because it would be good for her career. Rosenbrook became fed up when he sensed his fiancé might care more about her career than her love for him.

"You're going home because I refuse to give up my child," Rosenbrook told her during their fight. "I don't care how much I love a person I can't put them before my kids. I do wonder if the green card is what it was all about. It makes me feel sick. This is over."
