Adele's New Album '30' Release Date—Plus Rumored Tracklist and Collabs

"Easy On Me," Adele's debut single from her fourth album 30, was released to critical acclaim—and plenty of happy tears from fans. The album itself is coming in November, and already theories abound on what could appear on the record.

Earlier this year, a fake tracklist made the rounds which featured collaborations with Beyoncé, Ariana Grande and Elton John, with tracks named after supposed events in Adele's life.

There was even a track titled "UK To America" which would, presumably, tell the story of her relocation to Los Angeles ahead of the COVID-19 lockdown.

Given her new track "Easy On Me" is not included on this list, anyone believing this was real has been proven wrong. But theories and rumors still abound of what could appear on 30.

Newsweek breaks down what we know so far about Adele's upcoming album.

When Is Adele's New Album '30' Released?

One thing we know for sure is the release date of 30, as Adele has announced this through her official Instagram account.

She confirmed the release date of 30 is November 19, meaning many will be marking their calendars right away.

In the post, she explained how after a "maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil" she is ready to put the album out.

Adele's lengthy post described the album as a "wise friend who always gives the best advice," which tells a story of how she struggled through her divorce.

She said: "And then that friend who no matter what, checked in on me even though I'd stopped checking in with them because I'd become so consumed by my own grief.

"I've painstakingly rebuilt my house and my heart since then and this album narrates it. Home is where the heart is x"

The Tracklist of '30'

At the moment, there is no full tracklist that has been officially released for 30. However, in her interview with Vogue, three songs were mentioned in some detail.

These songs have not been named, but there are some details about the songs that have been confirmed.

One is the finale. This track was described as a "seven-minute opus," which was filled with reflection and, according to the singer, was recorded while Breakfast at Tiffany's was playing in the studio.

Another song will discuss Adele's attempts at dating post-marriage, which is apparently feistier than her debut single, "Easy on Me," which in contrast is a heartbreaking ballad where she begs her son, Angelo, to understand her reasons for her divorce with his father, Simon Konecki.

One song includes the lyrics: "The road less traveled is a road best left behind." This suggests there is a great deal of reflection on the album.

Despite this insight, no official track names other than the lead single have been confirmed.

Are There Any Collaborations on '30'?

In the same interview, Adele confirmed there are no collaborations on this album as the timings did not fall correctly for them to take place.

According to Vulture, Adele is expected to perform in a live TV special to launch the album, and there is no telling who could appear in that.

The singer utilized this method of promotion ahead of her album 25, though these performances were completely solo.

Nevertheless, Adele enjoys surprises, so who or what could happen in the run-up to the release of 30 is anyone's guess.
