Tottenham enters this leg 2 semifinal action down 1-0 on a scoring drought. But some observers are impressed the team has advanced this far, with a chance to reach the finals.

Tottenham's manager Mauricio Pochettinohas even suggested, according to the Associated Press, that might even look for a new challenge with another team if he can lead his team to the Champions League title this year.

In his fifth year, Pochettino suggested that winning would have previously been unthinkable and such an achievement could make for a good time to exit. "Winning the Champions League?," he said, according to the AP. "It should be fantastic, no? Close the five-year chapter and go home."

"It's not a joke, why? To win the Champions League with Tottenham in these circumstances this season, maybe I need to think about maybe doing something different in the future."

Meanwhile, in Liverpool today, Lionel Messi's Barcelona team was stunned, losing a three-goal advantage from the first leg in the 4-0 loss. The win was seen as a historic Liverpool win, not bad for a team known for its comebacks.

From the AP: "Divock Origi scored twice, either side of goals by halftime substitute Georginio Wijnaldum early in the second half, to send Liverpool into its second straight final and set up a meeting with either Ajax or Tottenham on June 1.

"It was only the third time in the history of the European Cup that a team came from three goals down after the first leg of a semifinal and progressed to the final, after Panathinaikos in 1970-71 and Barcelona in 1985-86. No team had done it in the Champions League era.

"The comeback was all the more unlikely given that Liverpool was without two of its first-choice forward line, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino. Instead, it was Origi — the scorer of the crucial fourth goal in the 79th minute — who made the seemingly impossible, possible. And it needed some remarkable ingenuity from Trent Alexander-Arnold, who pretended to walk away from taking a corner before quickly spinning round and sending in a low cross as Barcelona's players dawdled. Origi swept in the finish."
