Team USA's have not been living up to their stellar reputation in women's soccer at the Tokyo Olympics thus far.
The U.S. Women's national team (USWNT) have nevertheless managed to advance to the quarterfinals, despite only winning one of their three games in Group G.
Tuesday July 27 saw the team, who won their fourth World Cup title back in 2019, have a goalless draw against Australia.
And when the camera focussed in on star player Alex Morgan on the bench, her expression said it all.
In the clip, which is being shared by Twitter users, Morgan can be seen shaking her head during the 88th minute of the match.
The soccer star, who welcomed a daughter in 2020, had a goal disallowed in the first half of the match which will have no doubt added to her frustrations.
However it seems the clip, which can be viewed here, has been shared by others to echo their own disappointments at the team's performance so far.
Soccer journalist Caitlyn Murray, @caitlinmurr, shared the clip alongside the caption: "Same. #USWNT."

Whereas an account by the name of Hedonist, @The_Hedonist_6, also posted the moment with the caption: "Head shake from Alex Morgan."
Anna Elisabeth, @annafinger23, simply tweeted: "Watching Alex Morgan's head shake on the bench says all that needs to be said about the match."
Journalist Doug McIntyre, @ByDougMcIntyre, commented: "Closeup of Alex Morgan shaking her head on the bench pretty much sums up the #USWNT's stay at #Tokyo2020 so far."
USWNT fail to live up to expectations in Tokyo
The Olympics favorites, the USWNT are used to dominating women's soccer tournaments, having won the last two World Cups and triumphing in all but twice in the Olympics.
But performances in Tokyo so far have left a lot to be desired. After opening their campaign with a humbling 3-0 loss to Sweden, the team bounced back by thrashing New Zealand 6-1. Ending the group stage with a 0-0 tie with Australia sees the team squeak through to the knockout rounds, where they will face the winners of Group F.
While performances by the USWNT have been disappointing so far, they still have a chance of winning the Olympics for the fifth time.
