Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Compares Donald Trump to New Yorkers She Used to Serve in Bars: 'We Got Under His Skin'

Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Monday morning compared President Donald Trump to customers she served while working as a bartender in New York City, claiming she "got under his skin."

"I bartended for *years* in New York City. I understand guys like this like the back of my hand," Ocasio-Cortez wrote, quote tweeting a post on a Trump comment. "We got under his skin."

Ocasio-Cortez quote tweeted CNN Newsroom co-anchor and chief national security correspondent Jim Sciutto's post on a dismissive comment Trump made about her on Monday morning.

"Asked just now about @AOC, Trump says 'Who cares?' and gestures dismissively," Sciutto tweeted.

Ocasio-Cortez worked as a bartender before defeating a longtime Democratic incumbent in the primary, becoming the youngest woman to be elected to the House of Representatives at age 29.

The democratic socialist also ripped Trump on Monday for not disclosing his taxes, unlike past presidents.

"I'd say we'd be taxing 70% of Trump's income, but he probably hasn't made more than $10 million in years - and that's the real reason he's hiding his taxes," she wrote on Twitter.
