Authorities in North Carolina have issued an Amber Alert for a 13-year-old girl who was taken from her home in Lumberton, North Carolina, on Monday morning.

Hania Noelia Aguilar was taken as she stood in a yard at the Rosewood Mobile Home Park, the Lumberton Police Department told WRAL-TV. Police said the man who took her forced Aguilar into a stolen green 2002 Ford Expedition, WRAL reported.

Police said the abductor was an unknown male who wore a yellow bandana around his face. The license plate for the vehicle he drove was South Carolina NWS984. Aguilar was described as a Hispanic female who is 5 feet tall and weighs 126 pounds. She has long black hair, brown eyes, and wears braces, according to police. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt with flowers and blue jeans, authorities said.
