AMC FearFest 2018: The Full List of Horror Movies Airing For Halloween

Every year AMC does its due diligence by scaring the living h-e-double-hockey-sticks out of viewers as a part of the network's annual FearFest. Over the course of 18 days—leading up to Halloween, of course—horror fans are treated to marathons of some of the scariest titles in the history of scary movies, and this year will be no different. The network announced FearFest 2018 will officially kick off with the premiere of AMC's new series, Eli Roth's History of Horror, on Oct. 14.

The talk series will uncover some of the mysteries of horror films as well as explore how the genre has impacted society and evolved over the years. The hour-long show will also include insight from notable horror writers, directors and movie stars including Stephen King, Quentin Tarantino, Linda Blair, Tippi Hendren, Rob Zombie, Jamie Lee Curtis and more.

The full FearFest schedule has yet to be released, but fans should note the usual suspects like Poltergeist, The Exorcist and all eight of the Halloween movies are slated to air during the October movie event.

Read on for a few highlights to note so far about FearFest 2018.
