Andy Cohen Is Now Dad to Baby Boy Benjamin Allen—'Real Housewives' Castmembers and More Celebs React

Bravo's Andy Cohen became a father for the first time on Monday. The producer and creator of the Real Housewives franchise shared a photo cuddling with his new son, Benjamin Allen, on Instagram on Monday.

"WOW! This is my son, Benjamin Allen Cohen. He is 9 lbs 2 ounces!! 20 inches! Born at 6:35 pm, PT," he wrote. "He is named after my grandfather Ben Allen. I'm in love. And speechless. And eternally grateful to an incredible surrogate. And I'm a dad. Wow."

Cohen celebrated his son's arrival back in January with an extravagant baby shower, thrown by Real Housewives mainstays Kyle Richards, Vicki Gunvalson, Nene Leakes, Ramona Singer and Teresa Giudice. In addition to the hosts, literally every member of the Real Housewives franchise was on hand to support Cohen's entry into fatherhood at his baby shower, held at the lavish Palm Beverly Hills in California.

Cohen's longtime friend, singer John Mayer, was also at the star-studded celebration.

"I'm speechless. Every Housewife, featuring @JohnMayer," Cohen wrote alongside a group photo of the event.

Of course, the women of Real Housewives were among the first to congratulate the Watch What Happens Live! host upon the news of his son's birth. "GET UP ON THE TABLE AND DANCE FOR ANDY AND HIS BEAUTIFUL BABY BENJAMIN NOW!!" Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna wrote on Instagram alongside the photo originally shared by Cohen.

Her castmate Richards also shared the image on Instagram, writing, "All the love in the world to @bravoandy & Ben! Congratulations on this amazing journey you're about to embark on, each day your heart will grow in ways you didn't think possible. I'm so happy for you!!"

Leakes, star of Real Housewives of Atlanta, also shared her excitement about Cohen's new arrival. "I'm shaking! The tears and joy I feel for you right now! I just can't believe this…ANDY U ARE A DAD @bravoandy congratulations!" she wrote.

Actor Sarah Jessica Parker, another longtime friend of Cohen's, also shared her joy over her pal's new family member on social media. "At long last. And February 4th will never be the same. We are already madly in love. Welcome Benjamin Allen Cohen we've got big plans for you," she wrote.
