College Board 2020 AP Exam Dates: When Students Can Take College-Credit Test

Students are gearing back up for the new school year and for some, that means spending the next few months preparing for the Advanced Placement (AP) exam in the hopes of earning college credit.

High school students are able to take AP courses, in several different subjects. At the end of the year, students take an exam and those who score a three or higher can potentially qualify to earn course credit at their chosen college or university.

Even before some students began their school year, they could see when they would be responsible to take the exam. College Board, the organization that administers the exam, had testing dates listed on its website. Testing dates varied based on the course and ran from May 4, 2020, until May 15, 2020.
