Who Is Arabella Chi? New 'Love Island' Troublemaker Appeared in Two DC Comics Blockbusters

Love Island's newest addition, Arabella Chi, entered the villa Thursday and already looks to be planning to sow some heartbreak. Previously mentioning her attraction to coupled-up Islanders Danny and Michael, she revealed she will "tread on people's toes" to get what she wants.

"I'm not going to not chat to people because they're in a relationship," Arabella says to Danny in a sneak peek of Thursday's episode. "Obviously, I'm going to have to tread on people's toes."

Subsequently, Arabella yells the notorious "I've got a text!" statement and is permitted to ask two Islanders on a date. While it's not yet clear who her second choice is, Arabella asks Danny on her first date inside the villa.

Danny, who is currently coupled up Yewande, hasn't been feeling the love and looks to be excited for his date with the British beauty.

"It's not like I'm trying to prove a point," Danny says to a fellow Islander. "She's f***in' flames."

"Don't play too much with fire, mate. You might get burned," Anton responds.

While on their date, Danny confirms that he doesn't feel like he's "putting all the effort" into his relationship with Yewande, which definitely looks to cause a rift between the couple when he returns from his date with Arabella.

"It's just rude," Yewande says to the camera. "If I went on a date and came back, I'd say something but obviously he didn't feel like that very important."

"Don't come to Love Island if you don't want to be loved," Danny says off to the side to Maura.

While Danny may still think his relationship with Yewande has "potential," only time will tell if a relationship blossoms with Arabella.

Prior to appearing on the British reality show, Arabella has made a career in modeling and acting. More notably, according to Metro, she appeared as an Amazonian warrior in the DC Comica films Wonder Woman (2017) and Justice League (2018).

The actress told the British newspaper that her ideal man may be Aquaman actor Jason Momoa but due to his marital status, hopefully she'll find better luck in the villa.

Apart from her connection to the DC Cinematic Universe, little is known about the newest Islander. As of Thursday, her Instagram account has been set to private and she has amassed nearly 30,000 followers.

Find out what's next for Arabella and her fellow Islanders when Love Island airs on ITV2 weekdays at 4 p.m. ET.
