When Will Prince William Meet Archie? A Few Royal Visitors Will See Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Baby This Week

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor will get a few royal visitors this week. Just days after the newest member of the royal family made his arrival, his uncle Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are expected to finally make their way to Windsor to meet Archie on Tuesday, according to People.

The couple took some alone time with their baby "enjoying their first weekend as parents" and celebrating Mother's Day, a palace rep told People. They have only had a few vistors since Archie's birth on May 6.

It's unclear if the rest of William and Middleton's family—their three children Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 4, and 1-year-old Prince Louis—will be in tow to visit their Duke and Duchess of Sussex's first child.

Archie's grandfather, Prince Charles, and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall are also expected to meet Baby Sussex on Thursday. Charles and Camilla were unable to visit the baby immediately after his birth because they were scheduled for a three-day tour of Germany just a day after he was born.

While speaking to reporters in Berlin, Charles couldn't contain his excitement for the newest addition to the family. "We couldn't be more delighted at the news, and we're looking forward to meeting the baby when we return," he said on Tuesday.

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip made the trip to meet their eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, just two days after Archie's arrival.

The queen and her husband were all smiles over Archie in photos of their visit shared on the Royal Sussex Instagram page. Markle's mom, Doria Ragland, was also in attendance.

As for William, he's looking forward to finally seeing his nephew for the first time and sharing some fatherly advice with his brother. The prince and his wife were in Wales one day after Archie's birth and William told local reporters he was "absolutely thrilled" for Archie's arrival.

Noting he was "looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quieted down," William also shared his excitement to see his little brother step into the role as a father.

"I'm very pleased to welcome my brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting," he joked.
