Are Chris and Katie Still Engaged After 'Bachelor In Paradise?' Inside The Breakup Rumors

A Bachelor In Paradise relationship is in question by fans after a photo showed one important person missing.

The controversy began after Jared Haibon, who has appeared on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, posted a photo to his Instagram account that showed fellow Paradise alum Katie Morton without her fiance Chris Bukowski.

Morton and Bukowski got engaged this summer on Bachelor In Paradise, though their relationship hasn't been easy. The pair showed up to the show's reunion special with some major complaints on their ability to work as a couple. By the end of the conversation, though, they seemingly found peace regarding their future.

However, when Bukowski was not in the photo, which featured other Bachelor Nation couples like Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone and Joe Amabile and Kendall Long, fans expressed concern and a lack of surprise that Morton's fiance was not pictured.

"Does this confirm Katie and Chris broke up?" wrote Instagram user @reallyrealforrealz. Over 100 users liked the comment.

"Chris and Katie don't make sense. I like her she seems nice but super desperate and poor Chris is almost trapped into something he's not into at all," wrote @jeanelynmassoni.

Haiborn answered the most-asked question from fans in a comment on the photo, saying, "He couldn't make it but him and Katie are still together." In another comment, Haiborn added, "they're together and very happy."

The good news for Bukowski and Morton comes off of a week of broken Bachelor In Paradise relationships. Tayshia Adams and John Paul Jones first announced their split last week. The pair's relationship had been questioned for some time after spoiler site Reality Steve claimed he'd been told they were only keeping a relationship up for the public eye. Adams adamantly denied the rumors.

Kristian Haggerty and Demi Burnett, another fan-favorite couple, expressed their decision to end their engagement on Instagram Friday.

"Our priority is doing what is best for us. With a heavy heart full of love for one another we have decided it is best for us to take a step back from our relationship," the message, posted on both women's Instagram feeds, read.

"We ultimately want what is best for us in the long run and for us right now, that means being apart and growing individually. We have felt so much love and support from you all as you've followed our journey together and for that we are grateful. We will forever be proud of the impact our love story has made and we hope it has helped others feel more accepted and confident within themselves."

Burnett and Haggerty made history as the first same-sex couple on the franchise, as well as the first same-sex engagement.
