How to get Prime Meat, Jerky & what you can craft

'ARK: Survival Evolved' Summer Bash 2020 is here. Below, we explain the basics of getting Prime Meat Jerky and more. 'ARK' is available on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, Mac and Linux. Studio Wildcard

Unlike many ARK events which rely on finding a unique creature or item on the game's various maps, Summer Bash 2020 items are based on a consumable that's readily available all the time.

If you want a cool Hawiian shirt or a summery weapon skin, all you need is Prime Meat, Prime Meat Jerky or some other kind of Meat. Prime Meat Jerky requires one piece of Cooked Prime Meat, one Oil and three Sparkpowder. Cooked Prime Meat, of course, is made by taking the Raw Prime Meat often harvested from creatures and tossing it into a Campfire. Meat and Jerky are pretty plentiful in ARK, but you'll need lots of it if you want to craft Summer Bash items legitimately. It will be a grind, and unfortunately there aren't many tips we can offer to speed it up. Just keep hacking away at Rexs, Sarcos, Wyverns and other valuable creatures.

Summer Bash Admin Spawn Commands

If all that Meat farming sounds like too much hassle, Studio Wildcard has your back with a wide assortment of admin command spawn cheats you can use to get the Summer Bash cosmetics immediately. You probably won't be able to do this in multiplayer, but it might be fun to try offline.

Press the following buttons to open the admin command menu:

Xbox One: LB + RB + X + Y

Command menu open, start by entering the "enablecheats" command. After cheats are turned on, these spawn codes are your fast track to new and old Summer Bash items as well as limited-time Dino colors.

Creature Color Codes

To change a creature's color, you can use the following command: "setTargetDinoColor r c." In this case, "r" stands for the region, or part of the body, you want to color. These are numbered 0-5 but small creatures may not support all regions. The "c" obviously stands for color, and these color codes are numbered.
