Atlanta United Vs. FC Cincinnati: TV Guide, Live Stream Info and Odds for MLS This Weekend

The second weekend of the MLS regular season is upon us and it pits the defending champions, Atlanta United, and the newest league franchise, FC Cincinnati, against each other.

Atlanta United's bid to defend their title got off to a less than auspicious start last week with a 2-0 defeat at the hands of D.C. United in Washington, while FC Cincinnati's MLS debut ended in a 4-1 thrashing at the hands of the Sounders in Seattle.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of their matchup this weekend.

When and where is the game?

Following an opening day trip to Washington D.C., Sunday marks Atlanta United's home debut for the season. The Five Stripes haven't played in front of their own at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium since they won the MLS Cup on home turf last year.

Kick-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 10.

TV and live stream info

The game will be broadcast on TV on ESPN. Fans who can't watch it on TV can follow the action live on ESPN+ and via the ESPN app. The match will also be streamed live on MLS Live as well as on FuboTV and Sling TV.

Match odds

According to OddsShark, Atlanta is a -227 favorite, while the draw is at +365 and FC Cincinnati is at +535. The over/under bar is set at 3.

Recent form

With only the first weekend of the season in the history books, there's little in terms of form to go on as far as FC Cincinnati is concerned.

The MLS's newest team got off to a flying start in its debut, thanks to a superb goal from Leonardo Bertone. However, things quickly turned sour as they shipped four goals to the Seattle Sounders.

Atlanta United's first game as defending champions did not go to plan either, culminating in a 2-0 loss to D.C. United. Remarkably, Atlanta United was the only team not to score in the opening weekend.

The Five Stripes also failed to score on Thursday, when they suffered a 3-0 thrashing away to Monterrey in the first leg of the quarter finals of the CONCACAF Champions League.

On a more positive note for the defending MLS champions, they began last season with a defeat too, losing 4-0 away against Houston Dynamo.

Following the opening day loss, Atlanta embarked on a run of seven wins in eight games, scoring 23 goals in the process.
