Jason Le Miere is from the British island of Jersey, which has absolutely no relation to the Garden State, other than once lending its name. He studied media and journalism in London and California before moving to New York City where he wrote for Revolver magazine and the New York Observer. He subsequently covered global sports, religion and politics for the International Business Times and later Newsweek. He now leads Newsweek's coverage of both U.S. politics and world affairs.
