"We're troubled financially and personally," said the man who sued his son and daughter-in-law.
"Sometimes he felt like untying them and running away together," the 11-year-old brother of the children told police.
"That money, it's more than a couple of shifts," said the gracious waitress. "I mean it helps out, everything helps out."

The woman, who was pronounced dead following a severe car crash, woke up as her coffin was being carried by mourners.
"I'm glad I resigned because it showed them I wasn't going to be treated like that and be taken advantage of," the worker told Newsweek.
"If women can get tons of time off for maternity leave, men can have some as well," one Twitter user replied to Klacik. "It's our kid too."
"He shouldn't have any grades on there because he has not been to school," said the student's mother.
