Transfer News: Barcelona Will Sell Young Star, Manchester United Find Luke Shaw Replacement

Barcelona are willing to throw the riff-raff a few bones every now and again.

The La Liga champions pluck the best bits from the Premier League and then discard the unwanted remains.

Alexis Sanchez was one of them. Not needed anymore at the Camp Nou, he was sold to Arsenal and is regarded among the best players in the Premier League—as reflected in his pay packet now at Manchester United.

Pedro was similar. The Spanish winger won five La Liga titles and three Champions Leagues before signing for Chelsea in the summer of 2015. Antonio Conte now views him as an integral part of his team at Stamford Bridge.

And today's transfer round-up begins with another Barcelona product that looks set to be a permanent fixture in next season's Premier League.

According to Cadena SER, Gerard Deulofeu will remain at Watford next season and doesn't expect a return to Barcelona. The 24-year-old winger has also been on loan at Everton in the past, but has thrived at Vicarage Road.

At Old Trafford, Manchester United 's plans for an overhaul continue. According to the Manchester Evening News, Jose Mourinho has reignited his interest in Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, with Luke Shaw expected to leave the club.

One player Mourinho does not want to leave Manchester United is French forward Anthony Martial. Chelsea have reportedly shown interest in the 22-year-old, but, according to the Daily Mail, Mourinho is willing to play him as a central striker more next season to ensure he stays.

However midfielder Marouane Fellaini looks set to leave the club, according to The Sun, after he said Manchester United had waited too long to offer him a contract and he was open to a move to China.

Tottenham Hotspur will be fearing the loss of one of their most influential players. According to the Daily Express, Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to make an offer in the region of £100 million for playmaker Christian Eriksen.

PSG are also targeting Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante but, according to the Daily Mail, the 27-year-old midfielder wants to remain at Stamford Bridge regardless of whether the club is playing in the Champions League next season.
