Alpha codes are being sent out now to a select group of testers with Origin accounts connected to a PC. The selection process seems random by the look of things, but interested players should sign up for Origin if they haven't done so already. You can do that for free on Origin's website.

Beyond luck of the draw, some outlets may be offering Battlefield V alpha codes as part of a contest. For example, Referum is offering codes to those who connect their Twitch account to the platform and stream Battlefield 1, Battlefield 4 or Battlefield Hardline. As long as you get in the top-100 streamer list for one of those three games, you'll get a code. The contest ends June 28 at 3 a.m. EDT.

Other outlets may offer giveaways as well, and we'll do our best to keep tabs on those as they happen.

Battlefield V comes to Xbox One, PS4 and PC Oct. 19. Those with an EA Access subscription can start playing as early as Oct. 11.
