Becky Lynch Reveals Birth of Child, Name in Instagram Post

Former WWE Women's Champion Becky Lynch revealed on Monday that her child with fellow wrestler Seth Rollins has been born.

In an Instagram post, "The Man" made the major announcement and revealed what her and Rollins' child name is. "Welcome to the world Roux," Lynch wrote. "You are the love our our lives #andnew."

The announcement was met with congratulations from around the wrestling industry.

Former WWE superstar Maria Kanellis wrote "Congratulations!!" Current superstar Peyton Royce commented with a bevy of heart emojis. ESPN's combat sports reporter Ariel Helwani wrote, "Mazal tov!"

Lynch announced she was pregnant in early May on an episode of Monday Night RAW. The episode aired the day after the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, in which Asuka won the women's Money in the Bank ladder match. During the event, Lynch, who was the RAW Women's Champion at the time, called Asuka to the ring. She then revealed to Asuka, and the viewers, that she was pregnant and that she would be stepping away from the ring for a while.

She handed Asuka the title in exchange for the Money in the Bank briefcase, and Lynch went off to focus on her family life.

"I've always, always wanted kids," Lynch told People at the time. "I'm just so career-focused that it became one of those things that, when you're chasing a dream for so long, I always wondered, 'Am I going to get around to it? Is it going to happen for me?'"

Seth Rollins, meanwhile, wrestled with the WWE until the Survivor Series pay-per-view in late November. Rollins, who was on the SmackDown Survivor Series team, "sacrificed" himself to Sheamus and took the pin, essentially writing him off of television for a while.
