For many baseball fans across the country, October means the start of the MLB postseason. Every team has the dream of making it to the World Series, but before then they must battle through their league's division series.

Earlier this week, four different teams in the American League faced off in win or go home wild-card games. Now, the Tampa Bay Rays, Houston Astros, Minnesota Twins, and New York Yankees will face off to decide which two teams advance to the league's championship series.

On Wednesday night, the Oakland Athletics' faced the Rays in the American League wild-card game at RingCentral Coliseum in Oakland, California. The Rays hit four home runs to beat the Athletics 5-1, becoming the third team in MLB postseason history to hit four homers in a winner-take-all game. Oakland struggled in the contest with only eight hits. The A's scored their only run due to a throwing error.
