Biden Supporters Sing 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' in Viral Video Watched Over 7 Million Times

A video of Joe Biden supporters celebrating the president-elect's win by singing Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" has gone viral on Twitter, watched over seven million times.

Democrats across the U.S. celebrated by dancing in the street over the weekend, as news broke that Biden had beaten incumbent President Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

Dozens of Biden supporters gathered at a gas station on Los Feliz Boulevard, Los Angeles, at a party hosted by comedians and writers Addie Weyrich and Demi Adejuyigbe to celebrate the win on Saturday.

Videos from the event show supporters—most of them wearing face masks—dancing to music played from a huge speaker on the roof of a car.

Twitter user Adrienne shared the now-viral video to Twitter and said: "this was the first time I heard this song in 2020 and it was absolutely the best possible occasion." The video has been liked nearly 100,000 times and shared more than 20,000 times at the time of writing.

Mariah Carey herself shared the video and said: "Saw this last night during our own celebratory moments! Watching this and sharing the feelings of joy and happiness with you all!! Let's remember to stay safe so we can really have the most FESTIVE Christmas yet."

The video was shared widely on Twitter, including by other celebrities such as actress Elizabeth Banks, who shared the video and said: "National Anthem until Jan 20," while singer Sara Bareilles simply captioned the video: "Sweetest joy."

While Biden was the subject of "All I Want For Christmas Is You," Biden's supporters had another song in mind for Trump.

Another video from the event posted by Adrienne sees the partiers singing to Kelly Clarkson's break-up song, "Since U Been Gone," targeted at Trump, with Adrienne captioning the video: "this song truly hits different now."

This video, which has been viewed 1.6 million times at the time of writing, sees the Biden supporters passionately singing the lyrics: "But since you been gone/I can breathe for the first time/I'm so movin' on, yeah, yeah/Thanks to you/Now I get what I want/Since you been gone.

"You had your chance, you blew it/Out of sight, out of mind/Shut your mouth, I just can't take it/Again, and again, and again, and again."
