Billie Eilish Fans Come To Her Defense Over Kanye West Travis Scott Drama

Fans of Billie Eilish backed the singer after being called out by Kanye West. The "Heartless" rapper claimed she should apologize to rapper Travis Scott for dissing him during a recent concert. West also admitted that he will not preform at Coachella unless she apologizes.

During the Happier Than Ever tour, Eilish stopped the show to help a fan who needed an inhaler in the pit section by the stage. "I wait for people to be okay," she said. West took this as a direct dig at Scott referring to his "Astroworld" festival last November that lead to many deaths and hundreds injured.

In all caps Kayne wrote, "COME ON BILLIE WE LOVE YOU PLEASE APOLOGIZE TO TRAV AND THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES." He then said Scott didn't know what was going on in the crowd and was upset about what happened. West also admitted that Scott will be preforming with him at Coachella adding, "I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PREFORM."

Two hours after West uploaded the post, Eilish responded with a comment.

"literally never said a thing about travis. was just helping a fan," she wrote. Her comment received over 114,000 likes.

The musicians are both headlining this year's music festival, alongside Harry Styles. Eilish is set to perform on April 16th and 23rd while West is slated for April 17th and 24th. The festival is held Indio, California.

Many came to Eilish's defense in the comment section underneath West's Instagram post.

"She doesn't owe any one an apology for doing what was right during HER own concert WTF?" @ursullinetv wrote.

@booojiboy commented, "I was at her show, her comment was NOT a diss to travis !"

"I'm sorry but she did not say anything wrong nor did she mention Travis by name. How can you turn her stopping the show to protect a fan's health into a bad thing??" @cyphwifesrevenge said.

Many users on social media are speaking up about the situation, backing the "bad guy" singer on other platforms, too. In a viral Tiktok video has over 13,200 likes and 69,000 views, user @chrisklemens shared thoughts while other fans chimed in via the comments section.

@Alexandria wrote, "The fact that she didn't even say his name. All she said is she wasn't gonna continue until her fans were okay. He's mad she's being safe?"

"she is always stopping shows to help people like??? and she didn't even drop his name???" @Jenna said.
