The Season 5 trailer, which Netflix posted on Twitter Wednesday, teases three different storylines. Plot points shared seem to imply searching for love and outside simulation in a marriage, living life as a celebrity and being a young person in a technology-based society. Other moments show a police showdown, brain scans and Alternate Reality experiences.

Fans of Black Mirror expressed excitement for the upcoming season on Twitter, many chattering about Miley Cyrus' involvement in the upcoming season. Fans seemed primarily excited to see the former Disney Channel star returning to television. Others celebrated Andrew Scott's casting in the series.
