Brandon Jennings Has the Time of His Life at the Bucks' Championship Parade

Thursday morning, thousands gathered in the streets of Milwaukee to participate in the Bucks' Victory Parade. While fans were excited to celebrate their NBA championship winners, former Bucks player Brandon Jennings quickly became the star of the show.

Hundreds took to social media to share videos and images of Jennings partying during the parade. And perhaps the most viral videos of Jennings showed him chugging beers while standing on the bed of a truck as it made its way through the crowded streets.

A video shared by Barstool Sports shows that Jennings caught the beer from a fan who threw it over to him. "Brandon Jennings is absolutely DOMINATING the Bucks Parade," commented Barstool.

Another video captured by Joe Zenzola shows Jennings again apparently chugging beer before slamming the cans down on the ground and hyping up the crowd.

"Brandon Jennings understands the culture of slamming down beers," he said. The crown went absolutely wild.

Chris Van Straten caught a video of Jennings throwing his soaked "NBA Champions" shirt into the crowd.

"Brandon Jennings living his best life," he tweeted.

Jennings is credited as the author of the "Bucks in Six" chant. Business Insider reports that when asked about the confidence he had in his team heading into the 2013 playoffs, he said: "I'm real confident. I'm sure everybody is writing us off, but I see us winning the series in six."

Though his prediction didn't come true that year, the chant stuck and on Tuesday, the long-held inside joke became a reality. As such, fans were excited to celebrate the championship victory with Jennings at the parade on Thursday.

Reporter Adam Duxter shared a video of Jennings chanting "Bucks in Six," alongside fans.

Yes, that's the prophet himself leading the parade. Brandon Jennings," Duxter tweeted. "He wasn't wrong—just ahead of his time."

"[C]ool as hell that the Bucks' championship parade isn't just current players, but guys like Brandon Jennings and Michael Redd getting their own cars,'' tweeted Christian D'Andrea along with an image of Jennings smiling at the crowd.

When the official Bucks Twitter account shared a video announcing Jennings' arrival at the parade, calling him a "legend," Travonne Edwards said:

"This might not make sense to most but Brandon Jennings put a spotlight back on Milwaukee whether it was his 55 point game or having random celebrities sit courtside throughout 09-12' and was a part of the trade that brought Khris Middleton to the bucks from Detroit. Classy move."
