Caitlyn Jenner Speaks Out as 'The Kardashians' Heads to Hulu Without Her
Caitlyn Jenner has spoken out after it was revealed that upcoming reality show The Kardashians is set to debut on Hulu without her.
During her marriage to now ex-wife Kris Jenner, Caitlyn Jenner, 72, appeared on E! series Keeping Up with the Kardashians alongside her stepdaughters Kim, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian and daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
However, it has since been confirmed that she will not be included in the line-up for the Kardashian-Jenner family's new show.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Caitlyn Jenner broke her silence on the matter, as she responded to a Variety article announcing the new show's April 14 debut date.
"I was there when this started from day one. I watched it grow," the former California governor hopeful wrote about her time on the original show. "And doing the show for almost 20 seasons was one of the highlights of my life.
"To be able to work with my family for all those years, connect with the fans, it was incredible. Happy that it continues for my family."
While no reason has been given for her absence from the new show, Caitlyn Jenner left the cast of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2015 after being part of the fly-on-the-wall series since its debut season in 2007.
While the show covered the everyday exploits of the California-based family, viewers also watched as Caitlyn and Kris Jenner's marriage came to an end after more than two decades. Caitlyn Jenner also came out as transgender while on the show.

After departing Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Caitlyn Jenner went on to document her new post-transition life in the E! spinoff series I Am Cait, which ran for two seasons.
It was eventually announced in 2020 that the 20th season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians would be the last, with the finale airing in June 2021.
While a two-part reunion special aired soon after the main show came to an end, Caitlyn Jenner did not make an appearance. Last year, she appeared on Australian reality show Big Brother VIP.
In a September 2020 interview with Australia's The Morning Show, Caitlyn Jenner claimed that she wasn't informed of the family's plans to end the show.
"I heard it on the news," the Olympic gold medalist said. "Nobody called me, I heard it through the media. Was I surprised? No."

"But that show, it's probably the greatest reality show in history," she went on. "There are over 500 episodes over 14 years. The girls have and Kris have done just an amazing job with the show and keeping it going for this long.
"But everybody is in a different place now and I think it's time to move on. Shows do come and go, and this one is by far the best of any reality show in history, and at some point, it is going to come to an end.
"I wasn't surprised but I just am so proud of the kids for doing such a great job over the years. I don't know the inner workings of all the family, but I know all of the kids have moved on into their own areas."
She added: "Some of the best times that I had with my children and some of the greatest conversations I ever had with all my kids as they were growing up was on the show.
"The show kind of forces you to sit down and talk about the issues, and I think the whole family became much closer because of this show. And I'm thankful for that."
According to Variety, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters' brother, Rob Kardashian, will also not be included as a main cast member on the new show, though he might eventually make a cameo. He had appeared in earlier seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
After dropping out of the show due to mental health issues, Rob Kardashian returned to the reality TV realm with his 2016 spinoff Rob & Chyna, which followed his ill-fated relationship with Blac Chyna. The former couple share a daughter, Dream, 5.
Caitlyn Jenner, who was married to Kris Jenner between 1991 and 2015, shares daughters Kylie Jenner, 26, and Kendall Jenner, 26, with the matriarch. The Kardashian siblings are from Kris Jenner's marriage to late attorney Robert Kardashian.
