Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is nearing its release, so we're here to tell you precisely what time you can start playing that massive preloaded download. Luckily, Treyarch posted a map with all regional release times earlier this week.
What time does 'Call of Duty: Black Ops 4' Release?

Like most triple-A releases, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is expected to go live at 12 a.m. EDT Oct. 12. It's worth noting that this release map specifically relates to Black Ops 4's PC launch on Battle.net, but it's highly irregular for launch times to stagger across platforms. There may be slight variations on PS4 and Xbox One, but there shouldn't be any huge delays barring unforeseen technical problems on behalf of Sony or Microsoft.
What about 'Call of Duty: Black Ops 4' Preloads?

As we discussed earlier this week, your preload for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 should have already begun on all platforms as long as you pre-ordered the game. If you're just buying it now the download should automatically start. If you placed your order a while ago, here are a few ways to trigger the download.
- Go to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 store page on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store or Battle.net, and you should be given the open to download the game.
- On PS4, scroll over to your games Library and select Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The option to download the game should appear.
- On Xbox One, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 should be visible in the "ready to install" section of "Games & apps."
- On Battle.net, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 should appear in your games library under the Activision subhead. Click the name of the game and press the large button that says "Install."
The game requires about 120GB of free space for the main content and its day-one patch. If you don't have that space available, your preload may not start. Once the download is 30 percent complete, you'll have access to Blackout battle royale.
That's all there is to know about the release time of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Multiplayer servers are officially online, so anyone who happens to get an early retail copy can enjoy the whole thing right now.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 comes to PS4, Xbox One and PC Oct. 12 at 12 a.m. EDT.
