The footage shows Jay Catsby lying serenely on his bed as the massage machine gently rubs his head, putting the feline in a state of utter bliss.
The British shorthair is known for its calm and friendly demeanor, making it one of the most popular cat breeds in the world. These cats are recognized by their round faces, dense coats and sturdy build. British shorthairs are affectionate but not overly demanding, which makes them a great companion for cat lovers seeking a laid-back pet. Their relaxed nature certainly shines through in the clip of Jay Catsby enjoying some serious pampering.
For cat owners wondering how to give their feline friend a similar experience, cat massages offer more than just relaxation. Massaging your cat can help reduce anxiety, improve circulation and strengthen the bond between pet and owner, says Purina's website.

Starting with gentle strokes around the head and shoulders, cat massages should be a soothing experience for both parties. Massaging your cat not only provides physical relief but also helps release toxins that cause pain, much like in humans.
In Jay Catsby's case, a massage machine does the trick. Cat massagers like the one used in the video are gaining popularity for their ability to mimic human hands and provide targeted pressure and soothing vibrations. With various settings, these gadgets help pamper your pet while you relax and watch the cat enjoying it.
Viewers were anxious to know where the cat owner got his device and shared their admiration of the spectacle. Fortunately for them, head massaging devices are available at many online retailers.
"I want one but for me," said one viewer.
"Okay but where do I get one of these for myself?" commented another.
In addition to massages, calming activities like quiet time, dim lighting or a cozy nook can help relax even the most nervous cats.
