Charlotte Tilbury's New Lipstick Collection is Universally Flattering, Refillable and Benefits Women in Need

Earlier this year, makeup artist and entrepreneur Charlotte Tilbury announced a second Hot Lips collection is coming, and today, it's here.

For her first Hot Lips collection, Tilbury paid homage to 16 celebrities, including Kim Kardashian-West and Miranda Kerr, by designing lipsticks based on their signature color. This time, she's honoring a new group of women and men, conjuring up her own versions of their most worn shades.

The inspirations for the Hot Lips 2 collection include—among others—Edward Enninful, J.K. Rowling, Amal Clooney, Jennifer Anison and her mother, Patsy Tilbury.

The collection has 11 "nuanced" and "universally-flattering" shades based on 10 iconic women and one man.

Tilbury's mother's shade, called Patsy Red, is a statement-making scarlet color.

"She introduced me to the positive, powerful world of makeup and beauty. I remember watching her from a very young age, with her perfectly painted red nails applying her red lipstick, she would never leave her house without makeup on!!" Tilbury said, according to Who What Wear.

As for the rest of the shades in the collection, you have Enigmatic Edward (a hydrating clear balm formula), JK Magic (a nude-rose), Red Hot Susan (a orange-red with a matte finish), Dancefloor Princess (a pearly light pink), Amazing Amal (a soft berry pink), Angel Alessandra (a sheer peachy nude), Glowing Jen (a beachy rose), Carina's Star (a tawny peach with a matte finish), Viva La Vergara (a soft wine), and In Love With Olivia (a rosy pink).

The Hot Lips 2 collection benefits Women for Women International, for which Tilbury made a whopping £1 million charity pledge from the collection's sales.

With the launch of the first Hot Lips collection, Tilbury reportedly pledged $2 for every lipstick sold in the first two month, to the same women's organization.

A first for Charlotte Tilbury is that the new collection is packaged in five new refillable, interchangeable bullets. The bullet designs are apparently inspired by her love of fashion, Hollywood, rock'n'roll, and magic. Each lipstick will retail for $37, while the refills will run $25 a pop.

They will be available on, and eventually on, as well as in Sephora stores.
