College Football 2019: Where to Watch Clemson vs. Syracuse, TV Channel, Live Stream and Odds
When the schedule for the 2019 college football season was released, Clemson's second and third games looked like potential banana skins.
Fast forward to mid-September and that is no longer the case. The Tigers comfortably handled No. 12-ranked Texas A&M last week, winning 24-10 at home.
Syracuse, their opponent on Saturday, was supposed to be the only other ranked team on Clemson's schedule. The Orangemen arrived into Week 2 as the No. 21-ranked team but have since dropped out of the Top 25 after suffering a 63-20 shellacking at the hands of Maryland.
Even though it will be playing at home on Saturday, bouncing back against the national champions is a tough ask for Syracuse.
If the Orangemen are to pull off an upset win, Andre Cisco will be crucial. The safety is one of the best players in his position and will be looking to make a big impact against Clemson, particularly as Trevor Lawrence's radar has been slightly off in the first two games.
The Tigers quarterback has thrown just two touchdowns so far this season with three interceptions, completing 68.6 percent of his passes.
Lawrence was much better in Week 2 but is yet to hit top form, while Travis Etienne has already looked impressive. The junior running back has accumulated 258 yards over 28 carries and three touchdowns, and has been well backed-up by Lyn-J Dixon.
The sophomore has 143 yards and two scores over 19 carries, with over half of those yards coming in the win over Texas A&M last week.
The win extended Clemson's winning run to 17 games dating back to last season, matching the program's best-ever run of success across the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
This weekend, the Tigers have history in their sights.
