College Football 2019: Where to Watch Wofford vs. Clemson, TV Channel, Live Stream and Odds

Clemson could extend its winning run to 24 games when it takes on Wofford on Saturday afternoon in South Carolina.

The reigning national champions lead the Atlantic Coast Conference and improved to 8-0 this season after thrashing Boston College 59-7 in Week 9.

It would take an upset of monumental proportions for the Tigers not to make it 9-0 when they host the Terriers on Saturday.

Any matchup between an FBS program—the top tier of college football—and an FCS team is often hopelessly lopsided, even more so when the former is on a winning run that dates all the way back to January last year.

It is therefore no surprise to see Clemson arriving into the game as a 47-point favorite, despite the fact Wofford improved to 5-2 last week after winning a fifth consecutive game.

At the beginning of the season, Clemson's relatively easy schedule—it has faced just one team ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 poll—was highlighted as a potential Achilles heel for the Tigers and so far it has proved thus.

The defending national champions started the season as the No. 1 ranked team in the nation but have since fallen all the way down to No.4.

Clemson slid down the rankings for three consecutive weeks between Week 5 and Week 7, largely through no fault of its own though a one-point win over unranked North Carolina didn't help its cause.

The Tigers have largely paid the price for a very ordinary schedule and some underwhelming performances.

LSU has surged to No. 1 after becoming the first team in the AP Poll era to defeat three top-10 ranked teams in the first eight weeks of the season, while Alabama and Ohio State have ridden red-hot offenses.

Crucially, the Buckeyes have also won two games against top-25 programs.

Facing another unranked team in Week 9, Clemson looked determined to send a message to the College Football Playoff Committee, whose first ranking will be published in two weeks.

The Tigers racked up the score against Boston College, scoring a season-high 59 points and finishing with a season-high 674 total yards of offense.

Trevor Lawrence had his best game of the season, finishing 16-of-19 for 275 yards and three touchdown passes, while Travis Etienne ran for three touchdowns.

Expect more of the same on Saturday from the Tigers, as they look to take advantage of a light schedule, that sees all the other teams in the top-5 having a week off.
