Two NFC East teams in desperate need of a big win will face off in this week's Sunday Night Football matchup.

The Philadelphia Eagles (4-4) will host the Dallas Cowboys (3-5) tonight at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Cowboys enter on a two-game losing streak which includes a 28-14 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football six days ago.

Dallas managed to get newly acquired wide receiver Amari Cooper involved early in Monday's loss on a 4-yard touchdowns reception in the first quarter. However, the Cowboys offense stalled in the second half as the Titans held them scoreless.

The Eagles have won two of their last three games, including a 24-18 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars two weeks ago. Philadelphia will look to get its own newly acquired wide receiver involved in Sunday's game as Golden Tate makes his first appearance for the team.

Tate was acquired just prior to the trade deadline nearly two weeks ago, but the Eagles had a bye last week. The veteran will get his first opportunity to face Philadelphia's biggest rival in his debut for the franchise.

"I've heard about it on social media," Tate said this week. "Our fans have expressed their passionate dislike for the Cowboys. It's going to be a great game. I'm happy that my first game gets to be at home against such an intense opponent.

"I can't wait to get to Lincoln Financial Field for my first game and play a division opponent. Coach said (earlier in week) we're right where we want to be, and this is the most important game not just because it's the next game, but because it's a division opponent."

Here's the info you need to know for tonight's game.

Odds: Eagles -8, via Bovada

Philadelphia 24, Dallas 10

Tate had the luxury of joining the Eagles days before the team's bye week. That should help him get accustomed to Philadelphia's offense prior to Sunday night's game. But this should be an easy win for the Birds even without him.

Dallas is a mess right now and that isn't going to change anytime soon. It seems like everyone but Jerry Jones thinks Jason Garrett is the wrong option option for the Cowboys and the team will continue to struggle as long as he's in charge.

This should be an easy win for Philadelphia, but it is a rivalry game and Dallas will likely stay in it, at least for the majority of the game.
